The TE position

We'll see how the offseason goes, but I expect the DL and secondary to get absolutely gutted by free agency. We may be looking at a repeat of the 2017 draft where it's all hands on deck to fix those positions.

TE is a need, but it's basically a luxury pick until we get some major issues sorted out on defense IMO.

I'd take a shot on him in the later rounds of the draft. Think he might be worth developing.

We have bigger needs, BUT, blows me away - OK I've hated that just like 1-tech or Safety, this team thinks you can throw a 5th or 6th rounder at it and we will be fine. TE needs an upgrade in talent ! (We spent a 2nd on Witten 35 years ago).
But, it seems that its not a deep draft for TE's this year, and we need our high draft picks i.e. 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks for defense. So I also vote for bringing in a free agent TE.
