Don't sweat it gang. Steve and Jerry are working on it plus we got a MVP caliber QB coming back we good.
If Washington has made a first round game would you not consider that a positive in terms of a journey towards a SuperBowl for them?So when Washington losses in the first round, then what? It seemed like a lot of our fans preferred being 7-10 over 12-5, then 1 and done.
I don't believe feelings have really much do with it. Washington had a bunch of cap space, a new motivated owner, new coaching staff. If Washington has made a first round game would you not consider that a positive in terms of a journey towards a SuperBowl for them?
No one knows if they are going to make it to the big game, but like all things in sports and life showing positive direction and results towards a goal is one of the strongest indicators that you are increasing the likelihood of the goal becoming reality.
Right now with all things considered which fan base feels more positive about the direction they are going? One team got rid of a troublesome owner and had a 4-13 season last year.
As for Cowboys fans another 12-5 season with another quick exit in the first round would not be what they are interested in. Having the same results four years in a row would be a strong indicator that the mgmt group is not learning anything new, and are only capable of success in the regular season.
The regular season is for profit, the post-season is for fame and glory. What would you sign up for as a fan?
