If they play their hands properly, there is a chance. Well on their way at least, and we're now looking up at both teams
We got slammed with injuries, Eagles are going to lose in the first round. Probably by Washington lol and then Washington loses the next round by Green Bay.

I think the turnaround in DC shows what a competent owner and GM can do with a legitimate franchise QB to turn a disastrous franchise around.
And Dallas has the Jones’ boys and Dak…enough said.

Unless Washington goes to the nfc title game they’ve done nothing other than what they did in 2012 and we know how they followed that up

That’s the only team in the nfc that has LESS playoff production than us

First 11 win season in 33 years?
Haven’t won a playoff game in 21 years
Haven’t been to an nfc title game since 1991

I don’t wanna hear it until they’ve done something

There are 4 legit Super Bowl potential teams in the NFC, and for a team in as much dystunction as that franchise has been for over a decade, to say nothing short of an NFC title game is ridiculous. In the next 3 years if they fail to then it's a fair comment, but no team can be expected to do this year 1 under a new regime. Not now, not ever

The Commanders, who were a dreadful franchise for this entire Century, won in overtime and clinched a playoff spot.
This with a BRAND NEW Head coach and ROOKIE QB.

Meanwhile, in Jerry's World, his toy was once again crushed. This time for the 2nd time this season by those Philadelphia Eagles.
Eagles win by a score of 75-13 in the two games. This was the 1st embarrassment, on the road, followed by many at home.
The Cowboys have won a single home game with ALL their home losses by multiple TDs.

The rumor is Jerry wants to "walk it back" with McCarthy. The joke of a GM is 82 years old and doesn't have the time to start over.
Or in his own words: " Go ALL-IN" with starting from scratch. Jerry enjoy rearranging the deck chairs, selling his pyrite/fools gold and
raking in his yearly #1 Forbes Bowl Award.

Commanders just proved it can be done. No, Commanders have not gotten any further than Dallas this Century, but the future sure looks brighter in Washington DC than Dallas. The Cowboys draft, the past 2 seasons, has been horrible. Who take the blame for that? Will McClay? His is the draft guy, if he isn't then why does Jerry even have this man. Answer: So Jerry can blame someone else. Because it really comes down to Jerry IS THE PROBLEM. And Eagles fans laughed in Jerry's fans and our clown didn't even realize it. All he has the Cowboys have 5 rings.
The man continues to live in the past. So why even try? Again, the Cowboys have done nothing in 30 years BUT continues to win the
#1 franchise, in all of sports, according to Forbes. As Jerry says: It is a business. Players know this and play like it. Sure, they might rise to the occasion once every month, but the players play for MONEY/POPULARITY in Dallas. And it works for them. Screw really winning. Why?
It is a business. The fans are the only one that cares about wins. Winning is 2nd or 3rd to Jerry and the players. Sure, there might be a few that really do put winning #1 but definitely, not the majority. If it was, they would be pissed for ONCE AGAIN, getting their butts kicked. No big deal. Hey Micah---you are up: Get that BIG contract. It is your turn. Ohhhh and let's walk it back for a 3rd straight season because Jerry is 82 years old and time is running out to rack in a few more millions.

Was told per board one thing the Clampetts did good was draft each year.

“then what”? Hopefully not another successful an offseason like the last one. Bet their first target is Harris to join their coaching staff.
I don't believe it is extremely difficult to make it into the playoffs. The difficult part is winning in the playoffs.

I hear you
I personally doubt they win a playoff game but we will see
I’m sure you felt pretty good Dak and Zeke’s rookie years right at this point? Looked like we had turned it around and were about to win some superbowls

Like I said Washington hasn’t done anything yet
Stopped reading at win some Super Bowls.

First of all, let me say again. I am not anointing a rookie QB after 1 season. Daniels looks really good already, like CJ Stroud last year. I said do not anoint Stroud so quickly and look at him this year. No so much the star this year is he? But I would worry Daniels is running too much. He ran 16 times against Atlanta. With his build I think that is going to end badly for him if he keeps it up. At the same time, I think a QB in the NFL has to have that kind of mobility these days. I opens up so much for the offense.

Washington made a big leap this year by improving their offensive line which was horrible last year. They invested in players in free agency, not necessarily great players all, but better than what they had. I suspect they will improve a bit again after this season, but they had a very easy schedule this year. Look at the teams they played. The only good teams they played were Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia. They lost 3 of the 4 and only beat Philly after the starting QB got hurt.

I give them a lot of credit for the improvement. They went out and signed a bunch of solid players, and drafted a couple - but they had early picks in every round so I would expect their draft would be good. It one of the reasons I want Dallas picking early. Dallas has to get lucky to get impact players where they draft. What Dallas has to worry about is the Commanders are not afraid to make moves. They are willing to sign free agents where they need help. Just one more team that will surpass Dallas a team that refuses to improve through free agent acquisitions.

Washington proved that when an owner hires true football people to run the organization good things happen. For decades Snyder ruled over Washington and the results were pitiful. Now that he's been forced out of the league this organization should be relevant for many years to come. The same cannot be said about the Cowboy organization, because our owners are egotistical lunatics who are so self-centered that they don't realize they're the real problem with this whole organization!

:thumbup:I remember when RG3 was going to lead them to multiple SBs. I also know that 7 of their wins this season came against teams picking in the top ten of the draft.

The Clampetts will never learn, they are still trying to force the round whole in that square peg.

We most likely will not get lucky because we will draft for need and most likely reach instead of taking the best player available.

What positing group would you say is strong on this team? I can't honestly think of one.

Yes. They’re going to be held to the same standard the Cowboys are held to.

Until they do something in the postseason they’ve done nothing.
Going from 4-13 to possibly 12-5 is a HUGE leap forward regardless of whether they win a playoff game this year. That's a lot different from winning 12 games 3 years in a row and then getting bounced early. Future is much brighter in Washington than Dallas. That's obvious. Sure, they still have to win playoff games but if you were betting man............ who you taking over the next 3 years win more playoff games: us or Washington?
