The throw I envied the most yesterday

when Russell rifled the ball along the sidelines yesterday past Chido in good coverage to Marshall.

This is not a Dak alone thread but rather WHOEVER plays QB for us needs to be able to make that throw.

Is there examples of soon to be drafted college QBs doing that? I don’t believe Cooper Rush could but I think Mike White could

In my opinion, next year's QB class is weak. If we wanted to select a QB, it should've been done in April, when the draft was loaded or even in 2017. Ryan Finley and Drew Lock are solid QB's, but I'm not completely sold on them. The kid from WVU is an intriguing talent as well.

In hindsight, I would've loved to have traded up like KC did and draft Mahomes. Texas born and bred, and a hell of an arm.

If Dak continues to get hit at an alarming rate, the smart pick would be Kyler Murray. He at least will have a chance to run away. Dak is athletic but nowhere near fast enough to negate the nonexistent blocking and lack of separation from all routes being ran.

Watching Mathew Stafford on Sunday night football really depressed me. Man he throws dimes all over the field.

Here we go again.

Dak has more time to throw than 30 other NFL QBs.

Average time to throw

Right now it is a weak class after Herbert who is almost certain to go no 1 overall.

Russell Wilson isn't even that good either but he made a few plays here and there.

We can't even get a few plays here and there from our QB.

It's the 3 and out offense.

how long does the offensive line need to hold their blocks for stevie wonder to find someone open.
About the same amount of time it take the JAG wrs to get open. It's easy to say the qb need to let the ball go in a certain amount of time but the reality is that there are lots of moving parts that need to be in sync for an offense to work. We got rid of the only two options we had that were proven. On top of that , Garrett and crew let everyone hang out in preseason so what I think we're seeing is our offense doing what they should've in preseason in real games. By the time they get it going we may have dug ourselves into a hole that we can't get out of.

That was a spectacular throw, and not making it does not mean a QB isn't NFL caliber. Russell Wilson probably wouldn't make that throw consistently - it was just a perfect storm in that instance.
