The throw I envied the most yesterday

Ummm... Tough question off the top of my head.

So many of the top QB's are old. You're right about Russell being being in that 7ish range.

I think he's right there with guys like Big Ben, and Matt Ryan.

I just come away from watching Seattle when they were good and thinking he was like a good point guard that can't shoot. He facilitates well but isn't getting on the score sheet.

Now that his contract has decimated their cap space and the roster is average that team is average and he won't overcome it.
Russell Wilson is underpaid. His contract isn't crippling the team. Locker room drama, bad trades, untimely retirements, and bad drafting from Schneider and Carroll the past 3 years have killed their team.

6.34M last year
15.5M this year
17M next year

They front-loaded his cap hit to the tune of a 31M signing bonus in 2015 when he signed a very under-valued contract. He's a steal, now.

He is gonna get ******* paid, tho. And will retire a Seahawk, and if he continues to play as he has, and play for another 7-9 years, will be HoF. They need to do a better job of surrounding him with talent. With even a viable NFL offense, he is an MVP candidate.

He is underpaid. For now.

And touché on the rankings...

No decent QB's coming out next year. But with a little luck, and firing/hiring the right coaches, I don't see any reason why we can't be a contender in 2022-2023.

Aaron Rodgers
Tom Brady
Drew Brees
Ben Rothlisberger
Russel Wilson

My list.

I would trade our 1st round picks for the next 3 years plus Martin if KC would take it for Mahomes. He makes that throw lying flat on his back

This is the pass of the week IMO. Amazing pocket presence while looking downfield and hitting the WR in stride.

when Russell rifled the ball along the sidelines yesterday past Chido in good coverage to Marshall.

This is not a Dak alone thread but rather WHOEVER plays QB for us needs to be able to make that throw.

Is there examples of soon to be drafted college QBs doing that? I don’t believe Cooper Rush could but I think Mike White could
You mean like the perfect strike last year in the Arizona game down the sideline while he was running? And the same play that is now non existent in our playbook? Dak on roll outs was unstoppable to a degree and for some reason we just stopped. I swear this team sees something work and they stop doing it. Its the weirdest thing I have every seen.
