I absolutely puke everytime I listen to the hardline. Hell all of em for that matter, but the hardline is the worst.

They call themselves sportstalk, but they do everything but talk sports. I listen to Galloway. he's a fool, but at least he talks sports.

They suck . They are the dorks that never played a sport, but pay attention when the Super Bowl or World Series is on.

Alot going on today and they rather giggle all day like a bunch of school girls than discuss sports

The hardline is awful, if there was anything decent there I'd listen to it instead of Galloway. The only show I like listening to on the ticket is the Matt Spiegol show that comes on saturday night from like 5 am and into sunday morning when I'm driving home. That show is national though I believe, local guys are such retards.

Norms voice is annoying and his almost orgasmic sounding breathing is annoying.

But he is one of the very few that actually talk sports for most of his program.

Norm is annoying but I agree the little sports that were spoken today were due to Norm

Norm was off all week.

The ticket is an acquired taste. I happen to really enjoy norm and BAD radio. I think BAD radio is great.

I like the hardline now, I used to dislike them, but You have to expect them to talk zero sports. They are not a sports show, in fact they get all ticked off when they have to talk about sports, especially the cowboys.

They are an entertainment show, mostly celebrities and music. WHy they try to pass themselves off as a sports show is beyond me but they are not.

Yeah I pretty much gave up on it a couple years back.

On occasion I will tune in if I know there is going to be an interview or during the PCs other than that I just gave up on it.

If anyone is interested in Live NFL Talk from 8 AM - 11 PM (Eastern) and replays all night, then I HIGHLY recommend purchasing a Sirius Satellite Radio Subscription. I love it, and will never go back to regular radio. Heck, I rarely listen to CD's anymore.

Not to mention you get Howard Stern, Blue Collar Comedy, and a ton of other stuff.

yeah but it is national. It is nice to have local sports talk covering our home teams. Especially when the station is as good as the ticket.

I really like the ticket, it is better than any other sports station I have listened to.. Mike and the maddog is still the best show in the country though.

I used to be a P1 and listen to the Ticket all day. Can't do it anymore.

I swear not a one of them even knew free agency was starting. I can't stand Jen Jen and Galloway but I'm forced to listen to them because at least they know we have a local football team. The Ticket has become a joke.

I really don't know what you guys want.

How many hours do you expect anyone to talk about the Cowboys and free agency? It's one thing if it's a national broadcast (i like Fox Sports Radio on XM) and they're going to spend 2-4 hours talking about free agency across the NFL, but how could you want to put yourself through 2-4 hours of Cowboys FA talk when NOTHING IS HAPPENING?

I love Sports talk, it's fantastic...but a bit part of the reason Galloway is such a beating to me is because he'll still be talking about Sunday's game on thursday....he'll still be recycling the same old tired cliches and tripe just because there's nothing new to report. :bang2:

If the Cowboys actually do something, then you'll get a few hours of FA talk, probably 2 segments a show, and up to 4 if the signing is worthy. But when there's nothing going on, there's nothing to talk about.

Forget about the fact that the biggest sports story in this town right now is the Dallas Mavericks winning 14 in a row, 21 in a row at home, owning a 5 game lead on the number 1 seed, 9 game divisional lead, and are on pace for the one of the best seasons in the history of the NBA. And it should be the biggest story of the day.

Or that the local baseball team (as irrelevant as they might be) just inked their franchise player to a 5 year, $80m extension and are in Spring Training with a new manager.

Yeah, The Ticket sucked and for a long time they were pretty much the only show in town.

Norm is by far my favorite sports personality in all radio, I wish he would move over to ESPN. He is by far one of the most knowledgable guys on the Radio.

I will only listen to The Hardline if I want to here about Baseball. Besides that, the only reason to listen to The Ticket is for the Ranch Reports and weekly interviews.

BAD Radio and the Musers are the worst and everyone talks about Norm's voice (which I have no problem with) being annoying, Dan McDowell's is absolutely horrible and he ditched his Browns for the Cowboys. At least Bob Sturm was man enough to stick with his Packers  .

True. But it is similar to Fox, CNN, MSNBC etc etc. They know people are tuning in and out throughout different times and so they have to acknowledge that fact and relay already discussed information again for the audience just tuning in.

Galloway, like Norm is consistent. You know for a fact he is going to be talking Cowboys and Mavericks.

It annoys me to death when something big happens with the Cowboys and I get excited about hearing about it on the way home and I tune into the Ticket (or I use too because they were the only show in town) and they are doing some stupid Skit or doing entertainment news (like I watch the same stuff they watch anyway  ).

And again, Galloway comes on from 3-6. And people are constantly getting off and tuning in while driving home during those times so he is constantly getting new members of the audience, so he has to recap.

I cant wait until the Mavericks make their Playoff Run, that is all Galloway will be talking about, just like last year and I am sure everyone in the Metroplex absolutely loved it. Especially when he would let Spurs fans call in and blast em (even though the Hardline was doing some of that too :) ).
