I absolutely puke everytime I listen to the hardline. Hell all of em for that matter, but the hardline is the worst.

They call themselves sportstalk, but they do everything but talk sports. I listen to Galloway. he's a fool, but at least he talks sports.

This is because you are an uncultered fool

As a huge Ticket fan, even I can't stand Gordon Keith, but that's another story.

I hear where you're coming from, I just disagree. Galloway can recap for the new listeners, but in my case, it drives an old listener away. I want sports talk, I crave sports talk...but sometimes there's just nothing of value to talk about.

And that's when the Ticket is a lifesaver, because they'll talk about the few relevant sports stories and atleas be entertaining the rest of the time.

You actually sound similar to me. I love Norm, love his show...hate when he tries humor, I want him to talk Sports. I like BaD Radio because their humor is funny, but also because Bob Sturm is an extremely good sports guy.

The Hardline is good for baseball season, and their NFL talk generally isn't bad at all, it's their Cowboys talk that annoys me.

The morning show, ugh....it's a beating of the highest order. Gordon ruins any decent sports segment with his unfunny humor, and 3/4 of the show are his stupid bits.

Oh, and one more thing....THANK YOU JESUS that they don't talk college basketball. Nothing is a bigger beating in the world to me than any mention of college basketball. That alone makes the Ticket the only real sports option for me.

College basketball is the allsome. March Madness is the third greatest sporting event in the calender year behind the NFL playoffs and college football bowl season

And yet, it's still the most listened to and most popular sportstalk station in the history of the planet. Go figure

Not even close. It's popular but there are several higher rated "sportstalk" (if you can even call the ticket that) stations around the country.

I don't mind the "guy talk". I even enjoy it a lot of the time. But it's the first day of free agency. They can't even mention the fact that Leonard Davis is in town. He's a former Longhorn. The #2 overall pick. Will he be a guard or a tackle? If they sign him, does that mean Columbo is gone? Should they spend the money?

It's worth mentioning. That's good local sports talk.

But they'll spend segment after segment talking about how Corby talked to a girl in a bar. Or they'll interview the drummer of some band no one has ever heard of. Even if they only did 50% guy talk, 50% sports it would be ok. But it's like they'll squeeze in a Mavs segment, because they have to. They'll half-*** two minutes of draft talk (with completely inaccurate info) because they have to.

Fine. Do your entertainment news and concert calendar but please just acknowledge the fact that FA is starting. And rushing Spagnola off the air doesn't count.
