My prediction for next weekend sadly: Cowboys 38 : Titans 6

Dallas will look like superbowl contenders against our pathetic offense and defense. Their offense simply has too many weapons (with or without TO) in Terry Glenn, Julius Jones, Jason Witten, Patrick Crayton, Drew Bledsoe and TO. Buit even if TO doesn't play, my friend who loves the Boys says that they will replace him with a rookie by the name of Sam Hurd. Sam Hurd is an amazing reciever already as I watched him in the preseason with so many amazing catches and was the leading reciever for Dallas in all their preseason wins. This guy would be starting for more then half the NFL teams I think.

I don't see us winning until after our bye week but I have a bad gut feeling that Dallas will absolutely embarrass us. I think that they are a very hungry, very talented team that will flex their stuff against our weaknesses with a blowout game.

Anyone else agree?

Oh well, I will never die as a Titans fan. It's sad when you start looking at "next year" after week #3 however.

At least these fans understand football and do not wear rose colored glasses like some team's fans do...

"I know you won 15 out of 16 games, but that was in the past....we'll kill you guy's this time...":lmao2:

I've never seen such rampant optimism:

When do we break out the paper bags (over our heads) at the home-games?

Now, 0-3? (Dallas game)

0-6? (Houston game)

0-9? (Baltimore game)

0-11? (NYG game)

Call your friends who are Bengals or Saints fans, and let's find out when it's appropriate. (I vote NOW!)

"Gloom, dispare, and agony on me (Woe)
Deep dark depression, excessive misery.(Woe)
If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all. (wooooe)
Gloom, dispare, and agony on me"

:banjo: :lmao2:

Some good ones off another titans forum http://www.gotitans.com/goForum/showthread.php?t=22064

if owens is out then pacman can easily stay with glenn, and julius jones isnt much of a threat at rb

im not worried about witten, ive never even heard of the guy before

i probably havent heard about him because i was only in middle school a few years ago, not that thats an excuse to not know but im probably one of the younger guys on the forum here, so there are probably quite a few names that i dont know, but i bet u troupes better (Than Witen)

I'm scoping around this forum and some of them have a higher opinion of the Cowboys than some of us do..

Dallas is probably not the best team to get your first start against. I realize that Dallas' Defense is only ranked 5th; however, in reality, they likely are the best defense in the game at the moment. They have 3 decent shut down corners, they can pressure you with the front 3. Their 2 outside linebackers are actually athletic defensive ends...that means they actually run a 5-2 defense. Their nickle defense might be better than the base defense. Their two safteys are probably the best safety tandem in the league; however most don't know this yet since Pat Watkins is still an unknown....

I am a Vince Young fan, with out question. I would hate to see him up against this defense for his first outing.

Houston would be an ideal start.

Dallas will look like superbowl contenders against our pathetic offense and defense. :omg:

I like our safeties but Pat Watkins is gonna have to prove himself before we can call our tandem the best in the divison, let alone league.. I like Hurd as well, btu start on half the teams in the league? Don't think so.

Although humorous, let's not get too cocky here .. all it takes is one bad play, one injury to have our nice little stack of cards come down.

Not to mention if this was a gaurenteed win, we wouldn't have to play the game and following that line of thinking the colts would be declared SB champions 4 years in a row.

"Commanders" would of been the appropriate answer.

That's freakin' hilarious.

It seems to me that "kid" should STILL be in middle school.

Witten came out of Tenn before Burnett, not "since" Burnett.

Watch out, you may confuse people.

It sure feels nice to have the Cowboys feared again.

Currently... there is no reason to fear us.

When we learn to beat the teams we are supposed to beat and put away teams when the opportunity is there... THEN and only THEN should we be feared. IMO.

A winless Titans team is DANGEROUS.
