One of those exceptions would be Mike McCarthy....for now.
However, one more Super Bowl championship for McCarthy....just one....gets him in. There is no way they could deny the only HC in NFL history to win a Super Bowl with two different teams. It's never been done.
It can't be said that McCarthy has little to be motivated and there he is, listed among the greatest of all time.
