The truth about why we lost today

Despite all the mental errors and missed opportunities, we were in position to end this game with a short FG. Everybody can blame TO, RW, Gurode, or whoever else they want to blame. but it all comes down to the missed FG. whoever missed the block on the FG attempt is what cost us this game. The defense held when they had to, the offense got us in position to score the winning FG the ST faild to win the game. This is the reason we lost this game period.

Parcells can't get it done, for whatever reason, the players under Parcells continue to make stupid penalties, so obviously he can't get it through like some coaches can..

Yeah, but to blame it on the facemask would be to blame it on the refs for making it personal foul and not a 5 yder, and I'm not about to blame the refs for this game - it would make me too much like a Commanders fan.

Who knows if hte game would have been played hte same. Washington would have gone for 2 after that Cooley TD. Who knows if they got it.

I agree it was a stupid decision, because eitehr way, if you score a TD on the next drive, it's a 2 possesion game.

It is an accumulation of plays that contribute to the final outcome.

TO makes the catch, we're likely not in the same situation at the end of the game.

We go for 1 instead of 2, and we're not in the same situation at the end of the game.

Welp, I have to disagree a bit. I can't put the blame solely on whomever botched up his blocking assignment. Sure, it was huge, but it wasn't the only reason we lost. There were numerous errors today made by a handful of guys -- so there's plenty of blame to go around.

I mean, even though the difference between winning and losing can come down to one play, you just can't discount all the other mishaps that happened during the course of the game, especially when some of those mistakes were defining plays that changed the course of the game.
