The truth about why we lost today

Despite all the mental errors and missed opportunities, we were in position to end this game with a short FG. Everybody can blame TO, RW, Gurode, or whoever else they want to blame. but it all comes down to the missed FG. whoever missed the block on the FG attempt is what cost us this game. The defense held when they had to, the offense got us in position to score the winning FG the ST faild to win the game. This is the reason we lost this game period.

We all need to come to the realization that team is simply mediocre.It is undisciplined,and it is always something that causes them to lose.Alot of times it looks unprepared,and it looks at times that it is poorly coached.On paper they look pretty good,but we have either overrated the talent on this team,or it is poorly coached.

Mediocre? No. This is a talented team that is underachieving.
Undisciplined? As much as I hate to believe it, you are correct. I can't believe a Parcells coached team is this undisciplined.
Unprepared? Is sure seems as though that's the case especially on defense.
Poorly coached? I also have to agree with you here.

If that was a 15 yard facemask penalty I will kiss everybody's #(@*#*(*@(*#!(@* on this board! They should have at least been given the chance to go to OT. Also, not sure why we didn't throw the red flag, but JJ was NOT in the end zone for a safety. He was clearly on the one yard line.

I agree wholeheartedly. There definitely was some home field advantage mixed in with that call. 5 yarder? sure... but to virtually decide the game with a questionable call. not good.

What is up with all the Face Mask penalties...last week against the panthers it was everyother play..Now the game was lossed in part to face mask penalty....

Lack of discpline and Focus......Parcells is mellowing to much...wonder if he has the vets trying to coach the team on the Field. (no trust in coaches). I can remember parcels saying something with Bledsoe at QB.. that the play should of went the other way... are these Vet changing the coaches plays

I truly felt we would come home 6-3 from this road trip because I was fooled into believing so by our defense. Fool me once. Lesson learned. Fool me twice. I'm an idiot. This defense has a long way to go before I will again believe in their abilities to play collectively.

Coming home 5-4 is not so bad but in order for that to happen our defense has some collective soul searching to do.

Maybe you should read the rulebook then.

It says..

5 Yard Penalty:

19. Grasping facemask of the ball carrier or quarterback.

15 Yard Penalty:

8. Twisting, turning, or pulling an opponent by the facemask.

Now, what does this look like to you?

Are we going to have Picturegate now? There are so many ways to decipher a picture. He could have already had his head turned to look back at those pursuing him. In that case rule 8 would not apply. One pictures does not tell the story. Show me a video. This isn't congress.

Actually from that angle I believe "upfield" is to the right in that pictures as I remember the play and he is turning to his left to go upfield so he very well was already looking in that direction.
