I liked his hustle especially.. I was surprised how well he shed blocks in the run game.. and even though I knew he was quick for a big guy but on a couple of rushes when he beat his man and looped around he got to Ryan fast as hell. Don't know if they sat him the 4th because of the score or his conditioning. Gonna need all hands on deck next Sunday.
 
Aside from the injury, Trystens obviously been branded an underachiever, but I think he gonna get a fresh look from Quinn. He’s got to make the best of his limited snaps so if he can continue to progress, so will his role.

Nolan’s departure may benefit him

So you think Marinelli was wrong in talking Jerry info taking him with a high draft choice . You think Hill & Elliott were mistakes. Who else ? Do you question taking Dak in the 4th round ?

Why would anyone question Dak? Miracle pick. Hill was definitely a mistake. Marinelli was a joke.
 
You don’t think Marinelli did a good job in Detroit and going to bat for drafting Hill was a mistake ? Lol this is hilarious . Running down Marinelli & Hill like feeding pigeons ….it’s simple stuff .

Finally got it out if you how you felt about Hill after the Zeke analysis. Took Marinelli to pry it out of you.

I think Merinelli sucks and the Hill pick was another dumb pick following whatever ridiculous type of player he likes or doesnt like. Is it any wonder we start nailing these defensive picks the moment Rod gets fired?

2nd and 7 - RDT, outside shoulder of guard.. Pass play.. Hill gets good initial push but then gets stonewalled. Pass is knocked down by Golston.
3rd and 7 - RDT same alignment.. Hill gets good push and along with Armstrong forces Ryan to slide to his right and throw on the move.. PBU Lewis.

3rd quarter:

1st series

1st and 10 at the 25 - RDT .. pass play Hill gets away from the guard and loops around inside into Ryan's face.. another hurry. Forces poor throw.. incomplete.
2nd and 10 - RDT .. Ryan 3 step drop.. nobody got near him.. pass complete to Pitts for 8.
3rd and 2 - 1 tech .. 1 step drop thrown slant.. no pressure.. dropped ball.

After a series off

30 seconds left in the 3rd -
1st and 10 at the 25 - RDT quick hitter through 2 hole.. no chance for backside dline. 17 yard run for Gallman.

I did not see him in on another snap..

Summary.. in on two tackles.. at least two QB hurries .. Not Aaron Donald.. but not bad..

thanks Ronnie for taking the time....i am so happy we got Trysten Hill back in lineup....if we can hang on to get Smith LT and Gregory and DLaw and Gallimore and if we can stay relatively healthy i guarantee we make it to NFC championship game...my guarantees run a little better than 50-50....but hit on last 3 and getting ready to go on long run.....old regime really liked Hill a lot i am glad we did not give up on him
