Not as scared of Rogers as I am the two RB’s. They’ve always been strong. They never used them in the playoffs which is why they have failed
I'm worried about playing against Brady and or Rodgers, but not because of their teams being outright better than us this year. I'm afraid of the blatant favorable officiating they'll no doubt possibly receive. If the Cowboys give the refs and NFL even a smidgen of daylight (ticky-tack stuff), THEY WILL POUNCE. Make no mistake, Roger Goodell and the NFL would prefer if Brady or Rodgers advance against us, depending of course if we play one or the other, or get lucky and play both which means we overcame the officiating and won a playoff game against either.
If league had it completely their way, they'd prefer Brady to win a Superbowl at least every few years or so (Goodell and Co. want to milk Brady for as long as possible), while they're absolutely dying to get another ring in the hands of Aaron Rodgers, since he hasn't won a SB since 2011 (ancient history at this point). Remember, the league can't control when their preferred quarterbacks choke in the postseason by chucking a bunch of interceptions, thus losing their team the game in many instances.
I've seen enough games in sports, and in this case the Dallas Cowboys, to know that rigged officiating and outcomes is a very real thing. We're going to have to play squeaky clean, and even then this team will be walking on eggshells, especially against either Tampa Bay and or Green Bay.
Here's to me hopefully being wrong this year!
Let's get it!
Those two were the ones I was thinking about. Bad memories facing them, even when Dallas had good teams.Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana.... oh you mean this post season?? ..... gimmmie TB to level things up.
Earlier in the season, I wondered why they didn't use more of their two-headed backfield monster. Seems like somebody finally woke up and put more on the run game and less on the passing game.Only way the Packers have dug themselves out of their 4-8 hole is they finally started leaning on Aaron Jones / AJ Dillon and kinda have Rodgers in a bus-driver (on steriods) role.
Tom Brady has never lost a game against the Cowboys.
Aaron Rodgers is 5-0 at At&t Stadium.
And we'll be facing one of them, if the Eagles lose Sunday (or if Dallas loses).
But if Dallas breaks the curse, expect a Superbowl run.
Because Dak was horrible the first half, and we fell way behind. So when Dak led us downfield to a late score, and the defense allowed Rodgers to drive downfield in under 2 minutes to get in fg range for the winning kick.... how was that his fault???
Do you blame him for not getting on defense and making plays too??? Brady did the same thing in the season opener last year.
If Dak lead us to potential game winning drives with 1 or 2 minutes left. How is it his fault when Brady and Rodgers aren't stopped in less than a minute or 2??
Please enlighten us as to how defensive stops are his responsibility.
Screw them both!! Time for Dallas to put away Jason and Freddie for the final time!! No more remakes of past films!!Tom Brady has never lost a game against the Cowboys.

Dak had the far better team, and failed to rise to the occasion.

Tom Brady is not the GOAT any longer. Rogers is not either. We can beat either Tampa Bay or Green BayTom Brady has never lost a game against the Cowboys.

He couldn't stay on the field in the first half. The defense played a ton of early snaps. Then we were playing hurry up to catch up, so the defense was further taxed. They were wasted by the fourth quarter. But Dak led us to a potential game winning drive with less than 2 minutes and 75, 80 yards to go for the opponent to win..... Dak did his part to gain the lead, its the defense's job to hold for over a minute, Dak doesn't play on defense, he plays on offense..... but you're telling me it's Dak's fault.....
Ok. That's all I needed to read. You can't make this type of **** up, but I DO appreciate your honesty because this proves my point about the unfair and absurd expectations placed on Dak that NO other quarterbacks faces.
I have yet to see another quarterback blamed for his defense's inability to stop another offense from driving the field in 1:30 for the game winning score.
i figured it was another bash dak and Romo thread
Aaron Rodgers had help from a bogus NFL rule in 2014. The NFL had a ridiculous standard for what is a catch, and then it was interpreted to the letter to deny Dez that catch that would have given us a great chance to win. That play would have been ruled a catch in any previous decade. I'm not saying the refs got it wrong. I'm saying that they correctly interpreted an unreasonable and absurd rule.
