I know your not a fan of Williams, myself I felt he did a very good job for Dallas. There are times he is open the ball does not come his way that per Garrett. Like him or not the Cowboys seem to like him quite a bit and will remain the #2 outside WR in Dallas. It is like you go out of your way to slam the guy

So he's open, and we just don't pass him the ball is what you are telling me?

If that's the case, JG needs to be fired or the oc, or romo needs to be replaced.

I'll just say it sounds like JG is making excuses for him being a bum. There are times where there is a cb on him tight, and he can't make the play because he loves to guide the ball into his chest and allows the db to knock it loose.

I know he's a cowboy, and you think we should love every player, but hes not a legit number 2. Despite his touch downs, and his plays he makes every now and then, hes not a legit number 2, barely a decent WR. A few games last year he went with 0 catches. The others 3 or less for 25 or less yards. Bum stats.

Out of my way, this thread mentioned Williams, in the sense that we could do so much with just him and dez. What's more dangerous dez and Williams, vs written and Escobar? Please.

Just double dez and watch the clown take himself out the game.

There are times Romo has throw to one WR when someone else was open, yes that happens.

You can go on about your hatred of Williams all you want, Dallas and the coaches seem to like him and when the ball comes his way he makes the plays. He did not have many drops at all and with all the BS of he can't catch with his hands? Tell that to the seahawks when Williams catch put the nail in their coffin.

I don't think anyone is making excused for Williams, it comes down you don't like him and you are one of a very few who feel that way.

They also like MO. So I guess you think hes good also?

All I know is that they had better bring back the short yardage fake again again this year (The Rocket Ismail play). With adding in a blocking TE and Collins, Romo should have all day to pull of that fake and take the required drop to throw the deep ball to Dez or whomever they have as their single-wide.

I form my opinion on Williams of stepping up and making the plays when the opportunity came his way. No one is claiming he is Dez but Williams has done the job when the ball comes his way. He put up 8 TD 2nd on the team he had the most TD catches of any WR in post season.

As for you Mo comment? They benched Mo now didn't they? they did not bench Williams

End of the day, I don't want to hear that its because they are not looking his way. If he was consistently beating his 1 on1 we would be fools to jot give him the ball.

They are making excuses for him.

No one is making excuses for him. You don't like him we get that. You have an opinion nothing more than that so keep on hating. Hell without some hate you would have little to offer.

What do you offer?

Serious question, why do we pass the ball to other guys, if Williams is open? Why do we avoid him?

I will see what?

Your boy playing like a bum come game day.

Look how sensitive you get whenever I say something negative about a player or this team. When I defend a player, you are no where to quote me. As soon as I say such and such is trash, here you are. The zone defender. You love everything cowboys, we could do no wrong. Every player is good and should be pro bowlers.

Why do we pass the ball to Dez to Witten or have a total rushing attempt of 508? Dallas avg 29 points a game and Williams made they plays when the opportunity came his way. That is what I ask or the players. Dez is the go to guy, Witten is and has been Romo safety blanket but when the ball comes Williams way he made plays. If you don't like it fine. You boo hooing over Williams calling him a bum that your view one not shared by many

Which boy is that? Sensitive about a player on this team. lol.... I have said I think Carr should take a big pay cut or get released, I think Mo rookie contract is the only thing keeping him on the team and Cowboys have already said they are not picking up the option. Mo and Carr play has been very poor.

In the case of Williams as I said when the opportunities come his way he makes the play that is what I ask of any player.

Ok we can at least agree that Carr and No suck, mainly MO.

Williams, not so much.

I'm just saying I have no issue coming down on a player who when a play comes his way fails. I think there is 1 football and between Dez, Witten and the running game (Murray) there is not going to be a lot of opportunities but does not change the fact when the ball comes your way do you step up and make the play or do you fail? in my view Williams had made the plays. If you want to say Beasley made the plays 2 I would agree and I expect both men to continue to make the plays when it comes their way

Yeah you wont find me complaining about Beasley. I like the guy. He's also very consistent.

Other than that, I see where you are coming from. Can't argue with any of that.

Bro you on your own with this one. You're very much underrating T-Will. Dude makes big time plays. Of course he isn't Dez or anything like that but he is like Chauncey Billips, Mr Big shot. Hopefully he gets better at hand catching but we could do a hell of a lot worse at a #2 WR.

True I would also add not all offense are built the same way. Dallas has their style of offense and last year actually saw us run the ball more than we threw the ball so those opportunities to your #2 and #3 WR will be limited. Dallas main receiving weapon is Dez and as we all know Witten is Romo security blanket

Well I'm just saying I want more consistency. The big plays, and the Touch Downs don't concern me. I know he's not like Dez.

I said I wanted him to be more consistent, like LR was for us. He wasn't great, he was sinking before he signed with us. Not the best athlete, or fastest. He was very consistent when teams focused on Dez. Made the dirty plays, moved the chains, ect.

I hope he does at least improve on his hands catching though.

Well its not like they ran the most diverse route tree at Baylor. My cousin is the starting FS there right now, and trust me they really don't learn that many plays beyond the basic college routes. So in year 2, he may not be as consistent as he is gonna end up being. But I saw enough from him last year, plus in both playoff games to have bigger concerns than T-Will.
