A. they arent putting the patch on the jerseys fans are buying, so fans should stop whining about it already

B. he does deserve to be honored....he is a HOF player and successfully served the players association for 25 years.

even if the patch is big and gaudy, the players should be more than happy to wear it, because Upshaw's efforts were very much responsible for the huge contracts that players have been getting over the last 2 decades.

that is ur opinion.......perhaps the owners and players collectively decided they wanted to bestow this honor upon Upshaw.....and if that is the case, then he does indeed warrant that kind of reverence

most honor patches and stickers are small and placed in a less noticeable area (back of helmet) not a huge black GU right on the front .....and here are a few reasons they bother me.......

and when Landry passed no one but the Cowboys honored him with patch....I think Landry probably did more for the landscape of NFL than Upshaw....
