Gosh, they won by 18 points. Philly only beat Detroit by 3.

Defense balled out again. Dak was ok. Played a similar game to Rush that leaned on the run game and defense. He had some ill advised throws but got away with it. He was efficient with a 122 QB rating. It's a win. Hey guys. Celebrate the win.

A win is great, but when you see obvious problems in your team, you still feel as if you lost.
As bad as Detroit's defense is, it's not good that the Cowboys struggled on offense. This game could very well have been lost. The Lions simply collapsed in the fourth quarter.
It's not so much that the Cowboys beat them as it was them beating themselves.
That's why it doesn't feel as great as it could.

Here's what you do. Go back to the Lions vs Cowboys poll and block everyone that took the Lions.

It doesnt feel all that great because most of us understand that the defense isnt going to only allow 6 points and get 4 or 5 turnovers. Wed like to see our QB look better than avg. Dak, as stated, appeared to be no better than Cooper, and that isnt good enough.

We were up 11 points a 2 possession game. Plenty of time left. Dak get a TD pass. And they call it garbage stats.
But if it was Mahomes or Brady or Rodgers or most any other QB they would say that is what winners and elite QB’s do.

I love how you disregard the entire rest of the game as unimportant, like the rest of the game didn't bring the team to that possession. If the Dallas offense hadn't turned the ball over twice, handed the ball to Philly in FG range three times and managed more than a FG themselves in the first half, maybe that one possession wouldn't have mattered so much.
