The Walking Dead-Season 7, episodes 9-16

so instead of telling a good story, they drag out an average one to ... well to this.

Yeah, they stretched it out to fit a 16 episode season and at times it has moved at the speed of a glacier.

If they had started the "war" at the midseason break they would have only had 8 episodes from introducing Negan to the start of the uprising... And I guess they (the writers/executive producers) decided that 8 episodes wouldn't be enough to capture all of Negan's ugliness, introduce the Kingdom, get Rick to his low-point (and resurgence) and get all the groups to cooperate.

If the season was 12 episodes, rather than the 16 things would have moved much faster.

I thought the guy that plays Simon did his typical good job.

Eugene's drivel over the walkie-talkie made me laugh.

Maggie and her ultrasound– (not my quote but I'm borrowing it because it was so good)- "Washboard abs while carrying a kid who looks old enough to walk."

I don't get all the Sasha angst over Abraham... I mean they were only together like a week...

I thought Daryl had another one?

It should be Daryl but it's probably Dwight to throw you off. Characterblooked bulky like Daryl and not scrawny like Dwight. Trickery!

They gave Daryl a new on when he arrived at the kingdom.

Ha..it felt like the show was 15 minutes in before there was any dialogue at all, other than Rosita and Sasha repeat scene.
As someone late to watching the show, I think it's better binge watched
It used to be appointment viewing

Now I watch it Monday or Tuesday on 2x speed for normal action and 5x speed for the 40 minutes of commercials

Ray Liotta on shades of blue is gay
Beauty and beast gay character
House of cards **
Big fat Greek wedding - Joey?

And more.....

Congratulations on your ability to identify the implied sexuality of fictitious characters.

Good. Because the Holy Flying Spaghetti Monster might smite you.

Yes.

And it was Dwight looking at Rosita.
They set it up to make it seem like Darryl. With him asking where Rosita and Sasha were in the previous scene, and also making the shadow look like Darryl, with the shaggy hair and crossbow, but yeah... That was Dwight. They already showed a couple episodes ago that Dwight was starting to have second thoughts about his affiliation with Negan and his group. Helping Rosita will be his moment of changing sides.

Bingo!

Bingo!

Bingo!

To quote Charles Barkley, this episode was turrible.

I was hoping it was going to end with crossbow guy putting a bolt in Rosita's eye. That would have actually made the episode.

Do the previews for next week show Sasha doing anything or is she an offscreen death?

Her fate will be revealed in season 8 when they return from mid season finale.

Lol

I think Sasha is going to get a death of a similar character in the Graphic Novel.
It will be interesting to see.
