I love zombie movies and this series looks pretty good. Plus with AMC having hits like Breaking bad and Mad men...hopefully this one will be done just as well.

I've never watched Mad Men but Breaking Bad is one of my favorites.

The comics are great, and it looks like they are doing a serious attempt at this, not the usual SyFy channel hookum.

Definitely going on my list.

Been reading that comic since 2004 and waiting on the series since early 2009.

The series is being directed by the directer of the Shawshank Redemption and the Green Mile.

Its gonna be awesome.

Never even knew it was going to be a series until last night.

Was watching one of those Jason Movies (the one with the girl with telekinetic powers) and they kept advertising it.

Looks killer.

If you click on the trailer and go to the youtube site there are some other videos of behind the scene stuff. Including them doing the make up for the zombie women. Those contacts look wicked.

A couple months ago, AMC was running a contest where they'd fly the winner out and make you an extra for a season 2 episode.

A zombie extra.

I'd rather win the lottery, but winning this would've run a close second.

Anyway, very much looking forward to this. It's been marked on my calendar for quite awhile.

I just finished watching the 1st episode. Pretty good and a nice ending to boot. I don't really like the partner/wife part but hopefully that'll be sorted out.

Side note: Has anyone ever seen the mini-series "DeadSet"? I caught a few minutes of it on IFC prior to watching The Walking Dead. It looked pretty good and I thought I might check it out online this week.
