Yes, he's diluting it like a greedy heroin dealer but that's because he knows he has us. Some of us have been fans for so long that we don't know how to walk away. For some of you younger fans, you might still be able to run and not look back, but it's too late for a lot of us. That game comes on and I can't turn it off, that's the same star that was on the helmets of the team I began to watch in 1970.

I keep hoping that the team will overcome the handicap of weak management. Perhaps a great coach, with a well controlled ego and the diplomacy of a statesman, will be able to get enough of his methods in place to create a genuine Super Bowl contender, I don't know. I do know that the only thing that never changes is the fact that everything changes.
Until then, I'll just keep supporting the players and the team. Jerry might own the franchise but the Cowboys will always be my team.
