The way Dak was celebrating after we went up 20-19, you would think it was no time left

Classic baiting attempt.
Ya think?

He knows what he is, he just wants someone to say it and get banned.

Because that is how this board works. You can say ridiculous and offensive stuff ... but when someone calls you out, they are the ones getting banned.

That’s all he does these days is bait folks into getting benched.

Why wouldn't he celebrate? Some of the intellectuals in this forum are unbelievable. Who would of thought that the defense would give them free yards down the field, and allow them to kick a game winning field goal, with no time left.

Yes, let's criticize the guy who put us in position to win the game and was excited about it.

What happened in the last three minutes? Did Dak not make enough tackles? Personal foul call on Dak? Couldn't cover?! Man, we pay Dak so much money you'd think he'd be able to make a play or two on defense somehow.

Dont you know that Dak is supposed to play every position on defence? Sheesh, must be new here.

Exactly. It’s never one play, one bad call, one penalty. They came up short, and are led by the bus driver who’s coddled like no QB here ever.

I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous. It was an ugly game, but the offense put the team in a position to win. The defence didn't do their job at the end of the game. As for "coddled", I hate to break it to you, but every QB gets coddled by their fans....except our QBs. Romo and Dak get blasted by a ton of fans on here for different reasons. I think criticism, if fair, is valid, however, when he does his job, he should be credited. He threw the game leading TD. If our defence is the elite unit they want people to believe that they are, then they needed to show up. They failed.

The question is, will he improve dramatically next year, the year after that, and so on? I think not. Then why waste money on him. His ceiling is behind him.
Is he better this season than last year? I'd say significantly better. Firstly, the turnovers are much better. Secondly, he seems to be going through his progressions better. Thirdly, this is the first year in a new system. I've said in a thread that I started that i see potential in this current system. I think that he will improve again next year IF we can improve the running game (including the oline).

That comes with being wise with cap money. First move, don’t overpay a mediocre QB 1/3 of the money you have.

Teams have won Superbowl games with ok QBs on multiple occasions. Not one won any with a mediocre defense. Buy a defense with Dak’s cap hit, rebuild a team that’s tougher in the trenches.

I wanted to keep Dalton, blow up the team, buy a real defense, and rebuild. I was laughed at. If that happened, they’d be better off than this team is today. Defense wins super bowls. Period.

Brady and Mahomes had great defense propelling those teams. So did Aikman, Staubach, Flacco, Dilfer, Williams, etc and so on.

Dak is holds back this team cap wise.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sal...irst introduced, they have increased each year.

Fwiw, the NFL Salary Cap, as it exists today, didn't even start until 1994...after the Cowboys won 2 back to back SBs. So, the pieces acquired to help Aikman had nothing to do with the salary cap.

That fool didnt know Miami had 3 mins left and only needed a FG??? He is a goofball
No, he knew a loss couldn’t be pinned on him so he was happy. The culture is not about winning as a team. It’s about a bunch of individuals trying to be the reason for the win or at least trying not to be the reason for losing.
