What's your way forward from here?

I'm guessing most would be for ditching Wade Phillips and getting in a coach who can bring some discipline.

Are the RBs set with Barber and Felix?

TO, Crayton and Williams? not for me.. I'd work Austin in as a deep threat somehow as the current first 3 played too similarly all year long.

So much talent but so little production, it seems like there are so many problems to fix but I look at the personel and struggle to see an improvement by replacing most of them.

Players I wouldn't mind replacing:
Tank Johnson
Pacman
Marcus Spears
Marion Barber (I just think we could do better as much as I like him)

We need a new staff completely. Wade cant get this done..hes in over his head, great DC but not so great HC. Some players have to be cut (Pacman, Hamlin, Procter), some players have to be traded (TO, Barber).

This team is going to be bad for a while if we stay the same.

I just want a coach with fire. Give me a coach with fire and the underachieving stops.

For those that played football, think of the difference in play when you were fired up and wanted to go kill someone on the football field, or when your coach always says everything is alright, and that if you go do your job everything will be ok.

Give Jerry a face lift so tight that he will be forced to finally open his eyes and see the problems with this team...including himself.

I don't see how you can bring Wade back. No way. Also Garrett shouldn't be the head coach and shouldn't be the OC either. Jerry needs to bring in a coach that he can let him coach. Let him hire his own assistants and system. This team is not going to win with Jerry bringing in one piece and then letting the coach do the rest. The HEAD coach needs to have his own staff.

The RB's are set. We 3 good ones.

I would like to see Austin used more. I don't know what will happen with TO. If he is back, he hopefully can see the bigger picture.

Tank, Pac, Spears. I hope they are gone especially the first two.

Reminds me of the scene in MIB where Edgar's wife tells him, Edgar, your skin! It's -- it's -- just hanging off your bones!

1. New coach and staff. Someone young and a hard***.
2. Leadership via free agency. Not one for signing aging vets, but I wouldn't mind if we went after Ray Lewis (or players like him).
3. Replace Flo. OL depth in general.
4. Draft smarter players. Overachievers and not necessarily BPAs.
5. Go back to fundamentals. We can't tackle.
6. Competition for Romo via the draft or FA.
7. Should be made clear from day one that no one's job is secure. Open competition is a good thing.
8. A real GM or President of Football Operations wouldn't hurt.
9. More later......

Fire every coach.

Get rid of TO.

Get rid of PacMan.

Find a credidble Punt Returner.

Draft QB (Developmental), OL and S.

Hire the meanest coach available and I do not mean grumpiest coach available.

Off the top of my head...I am sure I will come up with more later.

For me, that was the biggest disappointment of the Parcell's tenure. He was supposed to be just that, but was a shadow of his former self. I remember when he used to just abuse players to the point where I started feeling sorry for the player getting chewed out. He never did that while in Dallas.

I just hope if they do something, they do it soon. Don't wait to the last minute, because by then all the coaches worth getting will be gone.

Wade Phillips style creates complacency. I loved how Parcells used to churn the bottom of the roster. It got us Columbo and others.

The results will be the same if Wade stays...and I would not have said that before this past game. But its obvious that he cannot get the job done.

This team constantly shows a flash of brilliance to get your hopes up, and then they fold worse than a lawn chair.

It'll never happen under Jerry's watch. He thinks he's doing a good job.

How has he not? Our roster is stacked with talent. Yet they cannot execute on the field. I fail to see how that its the GM's problem.

95% of the league would kill to have our talent.

I agree with trading some players that still have high value. Barber would be first on my list.

Having Felix and Choice has proven that Barber (and his lack of cojones) are expendable. I would trade him in a heartbeat.

Seriously dude, it's a pinky toe. Emmitt played the game with worse injuries than that. Grow a pair!

What I would pay do see what Belichick could do with this team.

As much as I would hate to start over with a new coaching staff, system, etc., I would rather see an 8-8 season with a coaching staff that can get their players inspired and play like their life depends on it. To these scrubs, it's just a game and a paycheck and they need a Mike Singletary.
