The way we beat TB is turning Pollard loose

And the way you do that is by passing on the first down more than usual .

We run on first down more than anyone - you flip the script Monday by mixing it up .

Pollard needs 20 Carries - Zeke 10 +

If Dak throws 45 times we lose

What happens often is many keep thinking Pollard needs " carries and rushing the ball " to be effective,..

Imo, It's more important with ' Touches" than it is Carries with Tony P.
Pollard should be/could be an all purpose dual threat RB where he could deliver very dangerous receiving skills that could hurt- damage coverages of opposing defenses,
(ala his wheel route TD vs Vikes)

He could add McCaffrey/Kamara/Ekler like explosiveness and matchup problems in Pass game under the right OC. .

But of course the huge problems is... Kellen simply does Not know how to best scheme Pollard in the pass game.
I keep thinking if we ever see very small examples of Pollard's receiving skills, is it more consultant Brian Schotthemeir idea than it is Kellen.

This lack of an effective- consistent Moore-Pollard pass game.is one greatly tempts me to want that Sean Payton to Dallas rumor.

Yeah but Pollard averaged more yards per carry this game.. I mean he was a good 15-20 inches better per carry so he should have been given more opportunities.

OL needs to play better but he needs more touches. I bet you if had 30 carries at least five of those carries would be 20yd + runs.

They way they’ve run blocked I think you would be fooling yourself that 20% would go for 20+ yards.

When was the last time the Cowboys ran a counter or a trap? Everything is either a dive, a wham, or a lead outside. The running game has no creativity or imagination. Then again, that seems to be true of the entire offense.

If I'm Tampa, I stop Pollard and force us to be pass-oriented. If we can't pass the ball, we lose.

Pollard has been stuffed just like all the rest of the backs over the past several games man. He has 16 carries for 38 yards his last two starts. Let's quit acting like he's Jim Brown. He's a great change up back but as I always say with this type of back, if there's no blocking they're more likely to get you a negative play than a big play. The line lost the line of scrimmage.. (again) and the running game got stuffed (again.) No need to overthink it and it doesn't need to be about one guy versus the other. Get the guys some blocking and then let's talk. My biggest concern is how to get them said blocking.. The line has been garbage for the last 5 games overall.

Pollard may get stuff but Pollard always breaks a run for a TD or a big gain. If he had more attempts he would have scored a TD.

DQ also HAS to know Brady is going to get it out quickly. I’d love to see us play up a close a little more and clog those lanes for RB throws and quick outs.
