I was perfectly happy to put up with checkdowns and two-read and dump it off offense. The forced throw into coverage and the bad miss on 4th down the last two drives are good examples of the stuff I don't want to see from him. Those are the things we really can't have happen and hope to win with Tony out. Especially the stupid turnover, obviously.

Garrett needs to mix something up on offense. Try Cassell try Michaels. I understand he is trying to look like rock for team but he is coming off as stubborn and inflexible. If Dallas losses next week they will be given 8 count.

Cut Wee-done and make McFadden the back up- he can make check down passes and he's kind of a dual threat......or he can just run a cut out the check down aspect.

Weeden's conservativeness has prevented him from being a complete train wreck (4 INTs, a lost fumble, etc), but we have no chance with him at the helm.

My biggest fear for the past two seasons is coming true: we cannot win a game with Weeden as our backup QB.

We can't win with Weeden unless we're playing a cellar dweller like Jacksonville. And unfortunately we don't have any Jacksonvilles left. New Orleans was a close as we'd get.
