He's mentally and physically slow. I don't want to have to wish for his injury in order to get him out of here.

I don't blame Garrett for the play calling, because it's obvious Weeden is overmatched, but I do blame him for the kind of players he has at back up positions. The fact that Garrett thinks Weeden can play, and thought McGee, Orton, and Brad Johnson could play, gives me great concern about Garrett developing a QB post-Romo.

Ya know, I gave the dude the benifit of the doubt, because he was in Cleveland, and sometimes flashes, but after today I've seen enough. Williams was wide-open for a less than 10 yard fade and you put it NOWHERE near him. Done. Just done. Can't defend that, especially when he himself had no defensive pressure. Garrett has to give Cassell a shot. He's nothing to lose, but another game.

He can't play. I'm not trying to be mean. There's nothing else that needs to be said. Cut him so he can find a career doing something else.

You have two weeks to get someone else ready. If not, another one of these performances might have the defense and offense at each other's throat.

Weeden's conservativeness has prevented him from being a complete train wreck (4 INTs, a lost fumble, etc), but we have no chance with him at the helm.

My biggest fear for the past two seasons is coming true: we cannot win a game with Weeden as our backup QB.

I think we'd have won both the ATL and NOLA games with Weeden and the quality of defense we got today.

Cassel should have started this game. It was a loss anyways, but at least he'd get some time, then the bye, and then our division rival after the bye.

This was one of the most pitiful performances I can remember by a quarterback. The guy doesn't belong in the league. He is terrible. I cringed every time he threw the ball. You're literally begging the guy to throw down field. When there's just a tiny bit of pressure he can't step up in the pocket. No field awareness. No ability to look off defenders. He looks so scared. Just the look in his face. He knows he can't get it done. We all know it too. The guy can't even do the simple things a quarterback needs to do. I feel like an idiot for defending this bum. Haven't even seen the tape and you don't need to see this guy just ain't good enough. This is on Jerry for not getting a competent backup. This is all his fault for being so arrogant thinking Romo wouldn't go down despite being hurt in the last two seasons and it's just really disgraceful how we've refused to draft and develop a quarterback. I don't see any hope for the season unless Garrett does the right thing and bench this sorry excuse for a quarterback.

Cassell isn't the savior or anything like that, but the man at least has a proven track record of success. He's been to the playoffs. He's won a lot of games in this league. He's shown the ability to be a leader and give his team a chance to win. This offense just needs a spark of energy. A jolt. A guy who isn't afraid to make throws down the field. A guy who can maneuver in the pocket and doesn't put his offensive line in a tough spot. A guy who can be accurate and fit the ball into tight windows. It needs to happen or this season is finished.

In all seriousness, can Cassel or Moore be any worse?

Given the last two seasons, I'd take my chances with them and ride with it.

How can it possibly get worse than six freaking points?

Backups seem to play better in their first start or two. The more film teams get, the worse it seems to get. The output obviously can't get much worse than this, but I'm not expecting much improvement with their current personnel.

I don't see a point in playing Cassel or Weeden. We're not going to win with any of these retreads.

Give the young guns a shot. What can we lose? Heck, maybe Kellen Moore shows us something.

I had guys on here arguing with me that Weeden was better than Tyrod Taylor lol. The Pats tried to give Weeden a sympathy TD and he still couldn't connect. Mark my words, the Cowboys won't win another game with Weeden as the QB.

While Weeden sucks, Cassel is not much better. He is certainly not the answer to all our problems. The skill players on offense are just as awful. Letting Murray walk was a mistake and Romo/Dez getting hurt pretty much ended the season. Might as well leave Weeden in and tank the season. It's about getting a good draft pick at this point. Call me what you want, but these are the facts. It just was not our year guys. Sign Hardy and finally draft a decent safety.
