Roy has been toast ever since he starting hanging out with Destiny's Child and collecting poodles. He needs to grow a sack and play like he used to.

I went ahead and quantified my response, based solely on the fact that you wouldn't assume that I meant compared to the way the rest of the team played. Good for you that you got a response in before I remembered you aren't the brightest bulb on the forum.

Roy leads the team in solo tackles today, never got burned, only allowed a few very short completions and then wrapped the reciever up immediately afterwards, and yet somehow i knew that he would get his own special hate threads.. not anybody on the offense that led to 1 rushing yard, not Jacques Reeves, who played the part of swiss cheese, not Romo who looked like Jessica Simpson was in the press box.. but Roy..

Exactly! Roy does nothing special, which does not warrant a #1 pick. You can get an undrafted free agent to play better for a lot less money.

You left out the play where Clinton Portis ran through him like wet toilet paper.

I thought Roy played OK (not great) just OK.
I can't say the same for J. Reeves. He's getting burned almost every play he's envolved in. BTW I know Newman didn't play.

I'm not going to put the blame only on Roy but he is the worst cover safety. Cooley,Shocky,L.J. Smith and countless other TE's had been able to break big gains on him. yeah he's a hard hitter but playing SS in a 3-4 you have to have some cover skills. I know that's not our only problem but it's a consistant one that I can't hold in anymore. I remeber the Roy williams a few yrs back but I'm tired of having a liability on the field and calling him a starter
