We had 3 12 win seasons that we could have gone all in and done something special.

Jerry chose to not go all in and get all the holes filled as a result we squandered the opportunity.

We paid DAk and we paid CD and the window was closed while the eagles signed Becton, Barclay and drafted gifted players for their defense and built an absolute powerhouse that we stand no chance of being able to compete with.

The mollycoddled Chiefs that were brought along by the league and the refs shouldn't have even been in the same stadium with them.
Their trenches on both sides of the ball were built so bulletproof the Chiefs didn't stand a chance and neither do we.
Next Jerry will lock the window by making Micah the highest paid defensive player in the league and that will be his excuse that we have the highest paid players in the league but can't afford anybody else.

This team needs to be completely blown up and start over. We have started with a new coach now get rid of everything of value that we can get draft picks for and start over because there is absolutely no chance of competing with what we have there aren't enough draft picks or free agents available.

No the Cowboys don't need a complete rebuild. How many NFL teams have done that in the last 20-25 years? Exactly.

The problem even with a total rebuild is we are stuck with Dak. The ceiling is the playoffs regardless if we draft perfectly or spend a bunch in FA.

Yup, it was over after thst Packers loss. That was our best chance to make it to the championship game. Dak will be 32 this year, and injuries may be taking a toll

It’s just that our owner/GM don’t know or want to get creative. They don’t want to do anything that will push boundaries or make them (god-forbid) uncomfortable!

You don’t win big being “comfortable” you win by being bold, pushing the envelope, innovating…our owner is completely happy with the status quo. Why do more when he’s already got the most expensive sports franchise ever?

If they can’t win their way, they’ll just create a new game focused on money not trophies…that way they can say they “win” every year…

If winning was a priority, they’d run this franchise MUCH different.

• No depth at WR behind CeeDee
• Decent TEs
• Bound to Dak and there are far better QBs in the league
• No DTs
• Only really have Micah as an edge rusher
• Overshown isn’t reliably healthy
• Likely can’t keep all our CBs
• Need to rebuild our safeties
• Elite kicker

There was never a window open for this team. We have built nothing. We have a group of overpaid overhyped guys who are not capable of competing at a level that would allow this team to compete for a title. Making the playoffs and getting bounced in the first round is the best outcome you can hope for.

Because the issue isn't just spend money. It's who you spend money on and the talent you accumulate at key position to improve your overall team. The Cowboys will sit there and say they have Parsons and Diggs. Like that means something. For every Parsons you need guys who can anchor the defensive line and keep the Linebackers from getting absolutely smashed by the offensive line and having the ball run down their throats over and over again. But the Cowboys won't, the run defense has been broken for over a decade and they either refuse to address it or they try to patch it up with another traffic cone like Mazi Smith.

My thoughts are I don't want a complete rebuild until I can trust the people doing it. Until a Bill Parcells type character is brought in it's not for me.

Exactly. We got Romo as QB and Ware on defense. Then we sat back and wondered why the team can't win anything.
Now we have Dak, Ceedee and Parsons and still wondering why this team can't win anything
