The window is closed for the Cowboys

The window closed sometime between 2021 and 2022.

It was pretty much bound to happen with our FO's complacency.

They had Diggs, Parsons, and Lamb balling out on rookie deals.

But instead of bringing in more talent to go along with those cheap play makers, they started stressing about losing them to free agency down the line, and decided not to invest further in the team, thereby limiting out playoff potential.
lol yup, these clowns were using the excuse they had to pay them in a few years. As if they couldn’t have brought in more talent that could have dropped off the cap after a few years. Jones family needs to go.

The head coaching hire and his assistant coaches tell you the Cowboys are rebuilding but trying to get a wildcard. I mean with a healthy Dak, CeeDee, and Parsons your team should be a wild card threat.

Why does everyone keep dumping on Hurts? He played great in both SBs he's been in, and has an enviable winning record as a starter. To paraphrase what Buddy Ryan said about Chris Carter, "All he does is win football games."
Agreed. Maybe it's the fantasy football generation that focuses on stats. Maybe it's the few remaining Dakazoids who just don't want to accept it. The most important thing is what a QB does in the big stage and Hurts has passed with flying colors
