It certainly looks better than the last one, but not that exciting to be honest. I really wish they'd at least TRY make him look shorter. He looks like a giant compared to everyone on screen.

I actually watched a screener version of the last one. It didn't have the CGI fully rendered or anything, it was just awful all around. I thought I would like it more after the final product came out but it was pretty much equally as bad.

True, but he's got the role down pat. I can't envision anyone else as Wolverine.

It would be tough to translate comics Wolverine's bad-assery onto screen as he is what...5'4" or 5'5"?

Yeah, I agree he's got the role down, but if they can make John Rhys-Davies (6'1") look like a dwarf, they could make Jackman appear at least 5'8" or so. But they don't even try. He looks like he's 6'4" in the trailer.

Nothing in the trailer makes him look particularly tall.

Definitely looks better than the first one. I agree, Jackman has that role downpat. From the look to the cigar-chomping to the attitude.

X-men and Wolverine are 3rd tier super heroes at best. They have exhausted it.

I will say that First Class was pretty darn good. Wolverine and First Class actors/heroes should have some crossover in Wolverine(ala Avengers characters BEFORE Avengers)

That is not a wolverine, a wolverine looks like a badger with a bad disposition. :D

What criteria are you using to come up with 3rd tier? They sell well as comics and have been made into several animated renditions as well as movies. I wouldn't consider that 3rd tier. Of course they aren't quite on par with Batman or Spiderman in terms of overall popularity, but both of those have been around a lot longer. Solid 2nd tier in my opinion.

I wish for once, they made him put the suit on.

Would it look cheesy? Yes, it would...but i don't care.

It's one of the thing's he's known for. It's like making Superman run around in jeans and tank top.

I didn't think so either.

It probably looks like it to some because the whole movie has Asians in it :laugh2:.

The international trailer has a couple of scenes that the other one doesn't.

That beer bottle to the face? "That hurt".

I guess the comic book has him listed as 5'3''. I knew he was always short but never knew he was that short.

Hugh Jackman is almost 6'2''.....maybe 6'1-1/2'' or 6.2-1/3'' depending on whichever poster you read in a thread I saw where people were having a pretty lively debate on the matter.

You either think he looks tall or you don't.

It's almost literally every scene where he looks 6'3" or taller.

Kind of funny since the mid to late 80's X-Men tittles have been one of Marvels best selling series. That would my age group that perferd X-Men over Batman, SuperMan, Spiderman etc and I grew up watching the old Batmans and Black and white SuperMan and the Fantastic 4 Cartoons and the Amazing Spiderman etc.
