From the article...

What's your early take on Carolina-Dallas?
The worst thing that could have happened did -- the Panthers somehow opened as one point underdogs. Carolina believes they have not been accorded the respect that they think a 10-0 team deserves. This only reinforces that. Don't think that won't be the rallying cry for the Panthers this week.

I don't like this type of thinking one bit. Oh, the big, bad Panthers have been disrespected? And now they're really going to show the Cowboys something, huh Babe? Maybe Babe's noodle arm wasn't the biggest problem, maybe it was his ***** defeatist attitude. Maybe the Cowboys should feel disrespected because Rivera seems so astounded by the fact that the Romo-led Cowboys opened as a favorite on their home field?

Sorry, I've got my game face on. LOL.

Carolina is a 1 pt favorite as of today.

Anyway, the worst thing to happen before the game was Carolina getting their top pass rusher back. Charles Johnson is a beast.

Every HC looks for an edge they think will help their team get ready for a game. Rivera said the point spread showed disrespect to his team and what they have done this year.

I don't blame Rivera one bit for trying to use this to get his players going. I'd do the same thing. As a Cowboys fan, I wish they have been the underdog. Which in reality, they should be.

The worst thing to happen is the fact that I woke up today still needing to wait 48 more hours until game day. We're going to beat this team and I can't wait.

Carolina will be plenty amped up for this game. I'm sure Rivera will use the underdog thing as a motivation tool in practice but i cant imagine it having much affect on gameday when guys will be playing in front of the biggest TV viewing audience they may get all year.

Maybe. But the Patriots have won multiple Super Bowls using it. And may again this year.

I think the Patriots are toast. I think the Broncos are going to show just how limited that offense has become.

They have a lot of injuries. And they didn't look great last night. But I need a lot more evidence before I write off a team that's 10-0. People wrote them off after the Chiefs game last year. And we all saw what happened after that.

Watch Sunday night.

I am anctipating a slugfest , grind it out, kinda of game................... with many big plays and , a decent chance for the over to be had.

of course I was hinting at a wash upset over these same Panthers last week........

44-14 in a dominate blowout. No upset Joebobby.......!!!

A well-focused team, that ran all the way to the title game, which climaxed with Pete Carroll making the dumbest *** offensive call in the 49-year history of the Super Bowl.

Everyone and Haley's dog knows the Cowboys are underdogs. Buick Riviera can squawk about being underdogs all he wants.

The Cowboys know they are on probation. One slip up, and it's over.

Doesn't matter how they got it. They got the ring and nobody can take it away from them. And they don't have to apologize for it. If it were the Cowboys winning, I wouldn't.

I don't blame the Patriots or their fans for celebrating their championships but I don't think they should develop partial amnesia either. Case in point: fans have talked nonstop about Brady winning another Super Bowl. However, if one person (in a team sport) could be accurately named as the winner of Super Bowl 49, it would be Malcolm Butler. How much has been said about Butler since? Exactly. Summing up my mini-rant, I'll say franchises should revel in their accomplishments but they should keep it real while doing so.

It wasn't a dumb call -- it was a great play by Butler. It's a shame that so many choose to take the perspective that it was a failure by Carroll and Co. and not a tremendous success by Belichick and Co. It's really just a matter of perspective and all too often, society chooses to view the negative. Real shame.

I agree. But Im giving it to Marshawn Lynch beast mode, every single time. I wouldve run him 100 plays in a row if they allowed me to run 100 plays.
