I agree. But Im giving it to Marshawn Lynch beast mode, every single time. I wouldve run him 100 plays in a row if they allowed me to run 100 plays.

Me too and there was obviously some confusion at the end -- but I'm willing to bet that the play called works 99 out of 100 times in that situation. Just a great, great awareness call/substitution by Belichick and a great, great play by Butler.

It wasn't a dumb call -- it was a great play by Butler. It's a shame that so many choose to take the perspective that it was a failure by Carroll and Co. and not a tremendous success by Belichick and Co. It's really just a matter of perspective and all too often, society chooses to view the negative. Real shame.
Butler made a great play. The option Carroll choose was not the best call in that particular goal line situation. There isn't any shame in always analyzing complete situations and scenarios logically.

Dallas doesn't get respect either. If Romo doesn't go down dallas is easily 9-1.

Broncos won with their backup, a 3rd or 4th rounder they picked up a few years ago.

The romo going down excuse is bogus imho. We shouldve been able to win some games....We couldnt win games, becuase of the decisions made by the FO and coaching staff.

I know that I'm just saying. That's the coaching staff for you.

no , I get it. With Romo were on our way to HFA. or close to it.

But, we, as a team/franchise, failed. They failed keeping Weeden and hoping Romo didnt get hurt

Maybe. But the Patriots have won multiple Super Bowls using it. And may again this year.

It probably has more to do with having Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.

But you could be right also.

Funny. I thought NE won multiple superbowls because they have Bellicheck and Brady

Yes. Thats why dallas has only had 3 decent seasons in the last 19.

From the article...

http://www.***BANNED-URL***/sports/...t-could-have-happened-to-cowboys-just-did.ece

I don't like this type of thinking one bit. Oh, the big, bad Panthers have been disrespected? And now they're really going to show the Cowboys something, huh Babe? Maybe Babe's noodle arm wasn't the biggest problem, maybe it was his ***** defeatist attitude. Maybe the Cowboys should feel disrespected because Rivera seems so astounded by the fact that the Romo-led Cowboys opened as a favorite on their home field?

Sorry, I've got my game face on. LOL.

Babe is of the old school Dallas News type of media analyst. He always has an extreme and negative view to substitute for immediate gains or looks.

That, or he is a featured crow of historical perspectives.

Everyone and Haley's dog knows the Cowboys are underdogs. Buick Riviera can squawk about being underdogs all he wants.

The Cowboys know they are on probation. One slip up, and it's over.

This. Vegas just doesn't want to lose money with so many bets going Dallas' way.

Ask any expert or analyst and they will pick Carolina in this game.

Would be pretty sweet to get a dominating win in this one but it won't be easy.

Your right. And nobody uses the disrespect card better than those 2. You don't think Deflategate is driving them this year?

Panthers are going to come fired up. This is going to be one of the most watched games of the year and Carolina is a relatively small market. This is their chance to show the world they are for real so we should be ready.

Well I know this much.
Either we win and Romo will be the hero or we lose and Garrett will be the goat.

We didn't win games because the players didn't make plays. The coaches did fine with the back up QBs they had. We could have easily won 4 of the 7 if only players could have made some plays that were there for the making. Coaches can't catch the ball for them, can't cover for them, stop them from holding for no reason, etc.
