Your right we had 2 1st rd that year. We did it when we picked Spencer in 2007 I think. We did not have two first rd pick though. We traded out of the first rd initially and then traded back into with the Eagles when Spencer fell to 27th if my memory is correct.

Yeah, that was the year we traded so the Browns could draft Quinn, which is why we had two first rounders to grab Felix and Jenkins.

I'm not sure trading back up ended up being a particularly bright idea though, if we had stayed where we were at, after the initial trade, we could have still grabbed Lamar Woodley. Coming out though, Spencer had been a beast at Perdue, so I can see why we did what we did.

But it goes to show, sometimes, you're better off exercising some patience.
