The Alamodome was poorly lit, so I had to bump up to 1600 ISO, which makes the photos a little grainy. I'm a photography newb, so bare with me. I wish I could have taken more "action" shots, but I was too busy trying to actually watch was happening.

I was heading there tomorrow, but have a house inspection to be part of.

I want to take in my Fuji S3, but I'm not sure if they'll allow it in and I SURE don't want to leave it in the truck in the heat.

The didnt check one person on day #1....you could literally carry in a machine gun. I carried in outside drink by accident even. Not sure if they will check other days or not. They checked every bag on the early entry line though

What KMP said. You could walk in there with a full on professional video camera over your shoulder and they wouldn't say squat. I saw people with some huge lenses and several people video taping the entire practice (wish some of those people would post the videos somewhere) right in front of staff and no one cared.

My camera is a Canon Rebel XSi, with their basic telephoto lens (55-250mm lens). I'd love to buy a much better lens, but I was looking at some of the DMN photos and they're not exactly much better quality, so I'm somewhat hesitant.

I guess I'm "that guy" because I don't understand the problem of doing so in a thread title. If you, for example, posted a thread saying "Training Camp Photos" I might just skip over thinking it was just some newspaper's photos and I don't find much interesting about professional photos. But if you posted a thread saying "Superpunk's training camp photos" I'd find it more interesting to see what kind of shots you took and if you had any comments.

These were from last weekend when I did the report earlier. Unfortunately those practices will be all I can attend -- have to pay the bills.
