Theories for 1-Tech

Ideally, DAL signs a proven veteran at 1Tech to team up with McCoy..like Snacks or Pennel. The draft has some decent guys, but can we trust the drafters to get one?

They likely bring a guy back like Covington.

Hill will get some reps there as well.

I don't think they have. They signed McCoy to play beside him, and that alone means Woods is a better fit because the duo in the middle is better. Not that I'm opposed to an upgrade at 1T, but there isn't an unlimited budget to sign notable upgrades at every position where we would like one. There will have to be priorities, so is that at 1T, or RDE, or a CB, or the slot receiver? Choices will have to be made.

Antwaun Woods is fine as long as he stays healthy

Gotta have some guys like Woods who are ok starters but cost nothing.

People should be more positive about him. Still a young guy, and we have him for the next two years. He should still be improving as a player.

That is true and I'm also happy McCoy was signed but, the cowboys should have a opportunity to draft another one tech in the middle rounds .it would be a relatively cheap and easy way to add depth and possibly upgrade the position.Woods could also serve another bridge player .Also I was talking about this poster's idea of playing two three techs at the one tech position. That hasn't worked out well for the cowboys in the past

Theory: They'll have Trysten Hill eat 5 donuts a day until training camp and he'll be nice and fatty enough to be our athletic 1T. Maybe that's one way to make him useful.
