acting like all is fine and well. TCowlishaw just wrote an article today about Dallas being off to a crap slow start. Yes, there is VERY good reason to feel worried and have anxiety. The most sickening posts on this board are those of people who are acting like people getting worried are over doing it or like they should just relax and act like we've won something since 1996 - NO.
People who are fired up - should be. Money or whatever the Skins are deadly right now - Their D is topshelf and their weapons take a back seat to nobody - and don't act like Randle El is a stiff - you combine him w/ Cooley and Moss and Portis and I'm damn sure worried.

As of now - this FA period is not going well for us at all - you can't sell me Kyle Kosier and Andre Gurode as our saviors.

So to the people who post the "roll your eyes smileys" ...give it a rest and wakeup - we're in trouble...and Drew ain't even been sacked yet.

What have the Commanders won since '96, by the way

Ignorance.

Cowlishaw is a moron. Never go by anything he writes.

The skins HAVE to sign a boatload of FAs cuz they have no draft picks. If we tried to sign as many players as them AND our draft picks we'd run out of money.

And it's dumb to sign players just for the sake of signing players. We're still trying to get a kicker, one of the two absolute CRITICAL positions we needed this year. The other position is RT. What bigtime RTs were available in FA this year? None.

I disagree. The Commanders have proven that assembling lots of talent with an extensive payroll does not necessarily equal success... All those veterans may not mesh well together. We will see. I'm not counting out the Cowboys, unless cancer strikes.

Maybe I need to rethink this Commanders=MIFBIS thing.

Oh really? And what would you call when they were doing the EXACT same thing even before Gibbs became their coach?

Writers know about as much about assembling a team as people on this board. Until I see a writer or a board member become a GM I'll defer to those who do it for a living thank you.

Actually, there are too many people on this board going to Chicken Little mode...

TCowlishaw just wrote an article today about Dallas being off to a crap slow start.

That article was a load of wet manure... couldn't you recognize the smell??

I'd suggest suicide... it will solve all your worries...

As of now - this FA period is not going well for us at all - you can't sell me Kyle Kosier and Andre Gurode as our saviors.

Has it occurred to you that free agency is less than FOUR FREAKING DAYS old??

So to the people who post the "roll your eyes smileys" ...give it a rest and wakeup - we're in trouble...and Drew ain't even been sacked yet.

The sky is falling!!! The sky is falling!!!

Tell the truth, you're one of those guys who's done halfway through sex, aren't you??

One playoff game where they looked pretty bad. Whoopie dooo.
Brunnell will NOT make it through another season unless their protection is a WHOLE lot better. Once he goes down- they are toast. And their D is NOT topshelf- top 10 is all. And they have some weaknesses that were exploited by the better offensive teams.

He's got write something doesn't he? If we aren't signing guys right out of the box then he needs to write about something controversial. That's how he keeps his job.

Danny Boy's problem is that he keeps on throwing megadollars at mediocre players... Adam Archuleta just signed the richest contract ever by a safety... ADAM ARCHULETA??!?

The guy's never even gotten CLOSE to the Pro Bowl, and he's now the highest paid safety in the league??

There are far too many people on this board demanding we sign someone for the sake of signing someone. Just so they won't be bored or frustrated anymore. Or at least for five minutes until they throw another fit.

My concern is, as of right now, it appears as if we are, at best, slightly regressing. Now, again, that could change with the blink of an eye, but it is concerning IMO.

Rack, you mentioned how we're looking for a kicker. I hope we are, but that also concerns me. Several noteworthy kickers have already been signed, while others -- like Vinatieri -- are reportedly close to signing elsewhere. I'm just afraid we're running out of options, when we could had the league's best kicker or the most accurate one.

I'm also concerned because I viewed a guy like La'Roi Glover as one of our best players. And I viewed Keyshawn as one our guttiest, while I thought Campbell was considered a team leader. And they're all potentially gone (potentially, because Key could return).

I'm antsy. I'm not to the point of panicing, but I am concerned.

We sat on our hands a few years ago, and people thought we'd be OK because we brought in Key, Marcellus Wiley and a few other slight upgrades.

I just want the best for this team, and as of right now, I'm afraid the best isn't on the horizon.

I agree, but it's like Parcells said... Opportunity has to meet your needs. Or something like that.

For another words, there aren't any really good players at positions we need, except for kicker.

That's the only way I'll be disappointed... if we don't get a good kicker.
