What have the Commanders won since '96, by the way
At least they're headed in the right direction
From 5-11 in 2003 (before Gibbs)
to 6-10 in 2004
to 10-6 in 2005 (and toss in a playoff victory)

From being swept by us to sweeping us.

From NFC East cellar dwellars to wild card.

They keep adding players and keep improving.

I'm mixed regarding the Commanders picks. I think they paid way too much money for another Kordell Stewart. However, the Archuleta signing was very nice. We didn't really have a need for a strong safety so I don't fault Dallas for not going after him but Archuleta is a solid player.

acting like all is fine and well. TCowlishaw just wrote an article today about Dallas being off to a crap slow start. Yes, there is VERY good reason to feel worried and have anxiety. The most sickening posts on this board are those of people who are acting like people getting worried are over doing it or like they should just relax and act like we've won something since 1996 - NO.
People who are fired up - should be. Money or whatever the Skins are deadly right now - Their D is topshelf and their weapons take a back seat to nobody - and don't act like Randle El is a stiff - you combine him w/ Cooley and Moss and Portis and I'm damn sure worried.

As of now - this FA period is not going well for us at all - you can't sell me Kyle Kosier and Andre Gurode as our saviors.

So to the people who post the "roll your eyes smileys" ...give it a rest and wakeup - we're in trouble...and Drew ain't even been sacked yet.
You know, your right. The team is going to hell in a handbasket. There is no hope. We will probably be lucky if we finish 4-12 next year. Commanders will probably win the super bowl. Lets just cancel next year and start all over again next March. Maybe we can find a way to save 2007.

Cowlishaw. What a joke. He is very near being the anti-cowboy. I won't post a "roll your eyes smiley" (that was too funny!)...here's one maybe a bit more appropriate::jerk:

My concern is, as of right now, it appears as if we are, at best, slightly regressing. Now, again, that could change with the blink of an eye, but it is concerning IMO.

Rack, you mentioned how we're looking for a kicker. I hope we are, but that also concerns me. Several noteworthy kickers have already been signed, while others -- like Vinatieri -- are reportedly close to signing elsewhere. I'm just afraid we're running out of options, when we could had the league's best kicker or the most accurate one.

I'm also concerned because I viewed a guy like La'Roi Glover as one of our best players. And I viewed Keyshawn as one our guttiest, while I thought Campbell was considered a team leader. And they're all potentially gone (potentially, because Key could return).

I'm antsy. I'm not to the point of panicing, but I am concerned.

We sat on our hands a few years ago, and people thought we'd be OK because we brought in Key, Marcellus Wiley and a few other slight upgrades.

I just want the best for this team, and as of right now, I'm afraid the best isn't on the horizon.

Very good post Dale. I have not been critical of the lack of moves Dallas has made during this FA, but I like you have seen enough to at least worry a bit.
