We need a big, tough and experienced back.

I say go get Larry Johnson and bring his thughish attitude to a sleepy lackadaisical team!!!

He is not the long term solution but he could be for the rest of the year and the playoffs.

a sleepy, lackadaisical thug running back is just what we need.

I think Portis is still out there as well. At least portis can block for Romo.

Larry Johnson ran over and around us in the preseason game. He is very tough and could help us for the remainder of the year.

No! We need a space eating and rather dominating force in the middle of our D-line to compliment Ratliff. Then we need a replacement CB for Mr. 10 yards off Newman. Then we need interior O-lineman via free agency or draft as well. We have the RB's.

Sammy Morris???????????? Really? Why not bring back Tony Dorsett or Herschel Walker.

Sammy Morris is a very old 34

Hey how about Marcus Allen? Is OJ available?

RBs are not the problem. Slow down and think about that.

Yes they're. Our best back Murray is done for the year and the only other healthy back Jones is injury prone.

OJ is not. Perhaps Allen is though. Gale Sayers and Barry Sanders are around these days too.

With the injuries. Prior to that it was an afterthought.
Isn't that always the case?

Started the season with four, lost two to injury, and one was released (also due to injury).

So now there's only one...and they need a vet and a young guy to shore it up.

Playoffs? Don’t talk about — playoffs? You kidding me? Playoffs?

:laugh2:

Just couldn't pass that up.

I love the people here who just need a name.

Whoever comes in is here to pick up the blitz. That means he also needs to be a decent receiver. He needs to understand his role and be satisfied to be on a team. Few name guys are going to do that.
