Right or wrong I have always believed that the more games you win in a row the more likely you are to have a clanker. You dont want that clanker happening in the playoffs as it would send you packing for the year. If a team has put together a strong winning streak,....a late season loss isnt so bad IMO.

And dont give me that old law of averages flipping coins thing about how one game doesnt affect another. I dont believe that and never will. A coin is an inanimate object. A coin doesnt have nerves. A coin cant get a swelled head, nor can it feel stress. A coin cant begin to let over confidence creep in. Losing sucks. But I have always believed a late season loss under certain conditions isnt so bad. Gives the coaching staff a chance to lay a good tune up " butt chewing" on the team ahead of the playoffs to keep them focused and get an edge to them.

BTW.....even the great coach Landry wasnt immune. He has MANY seasons that went like this.......win four in a row....lose one,.. win four in a row,....lose one. It got so I almost expected it. Lots of 12-4 seasons.

there have been plenty of win streaks in nfl history far greater than 9 games in a row. If you are good enough, you will win the games you play.

Somehow I think the first and only home playoff game is a W . Pick your poison back to back Philly possibly SF or a Kyler Murray chapter in the he’s 8-0 at the Art Gallery sequel .

In other news, there is a good chance that we will be playing the Rams in the Wild Card game instead of the Cardinals. San Francisco has to win to get in because they lose the conference tie breaker the Saints. The 49ers have beaten the Rams 5 straight times by the way.

True. I still believe in my analogy though. Seen it happen far too many times.

Lololol. It happens to teams that aren’t good enough. That why. Like this one.
Or the Packers at home last year against the Bucs in the NFC championship game? Or the,...on and on and on...

I still think that IF we are clicking on all cylinders we can beat anybody/anywhere. But its all a big if though. That and Moore would have to make some decent adjustments to our offensive game plans.

This team is inconsistent. Dak and this Offense looked amazing one week and last night abandon the run and pass all night. And don’t take any deep shots. Same plays.

That’s the part that bothers me the most. If you’re ‘loaded at receiver’ as we like to think we are, how do you not even threaten a secondary of backups in the secondary?

Take note that our offense was shut down by the same guy who did it in 2017 with Denver. And that the Broncos also did it again this year. Both knew how to stop the Cowboys offense. Man up on their receivers and you won’t be challenged over the top for doing it.

Like the 2007 18-1 Patriots ?

In that 1 loss by the Patriots did their offense look like they had no clue as to how to play football? Because the Cowboys looked just like that yesterday. The QB looked like he had never thrown a football in his life or had consumed a vat of alcohol before setting foot on the field.

And we wont commit to the run. Play action works best when you commit to the run, thats what its for. No run= no play action deep shots.

Based on what evidence? So far this season tells me that the Cowboys are a middle of the road team. Good enough to whip up on the minnows of the league and lucky enough to play in a very very weak division. But forget about them actually competing or even being competent on offense against the big boys.

I said if everything is clicking we can beat anyone. There are probably 15 teams that can say the same. IF IF IF. If everything isnt clicking we can also lose to anyone.

Yep, the great pretenders. Jerry has hoodwinked the masses once more as he counts his billions.
