There's only one realistic solution - at least that I can think of

If anyone can figure out a realistic scenario in which we can upgrade our QB position - Im all ears..but I dont see a way in which we can

In my opinion, the biggest problem with this team is shortening games..we are a much better team playing from behind than we are playing ahead..

This team needs a dominant run game..I believe we need a new running back and I also believe we need some new linemen..

I know many people will moan and complain that JG doesnt call enough run plays, even when it is working..but I dont think Garrett has enough confidence in the run game to stick with it..

If this team can somehow develop a power running game - I fully believe Garrett is smart enough to change his ways..

I honestly believe our 1st round pick needs to be on a running back...if not on a running back, then on a MAULING guard..maybe that kid from UGA..Cordy Glenn

I think we need one of 2 things, preferably both.

We need a dominant running game, but that requires our OL to become better run blockers.

We need a dominant defense (Not there yet)

We need Romo to either not be the guy to always have to put the team on his back or at least make him not feel like he has to be.

As for Romo, he's the QB. We have no other options. Kitna is likely gone after this year and I don't think McGee is the answer.

If Jason Garett cant figure out a running game after 4 years and getting control of player moves, he is a much bigger clown than I ever imagined.

is the defense dominant now? absolutely not..but it has performed well enough to win a championship - meaning if it continues to play the way it has through 4 games throughout the entire year..that it is good enough..more than enough..our QB play / run game is NOT nearly good enough..

this is his 1st year in control of personnel...not his 4th

Yep all these yahoos constantly saying Jason doesn't run enough don't see that that they don't have effective Running game.

I guess thats what his detractors say in that he doesn't know how to coach a running team. But evidence shows that when Running games is working, he sticks with it enough. Fact is, other brief 4th Quarter against Skins, Cowboys running game has been putrid.

I think Running game will get better as season goes along and the Rookie Lineman get more experience and work with each other better. But unfortunately till then, Cowboys are not going to have consistent Running game to help out a lot.

But then, I am sure genious fans on this board will say, its all on Jason Garret. :D:

I would think Garrett has had a voice in offensive personnel moves since he's been the OC. If not, then the Cowboys really are a train wreck.

offense was good, offense scored 30 pts. TONY ROMO needs to understand if the play isnt there it ok to punt and lean on your defense.

its early - but give me Lamar Miller - 1st round pick in 2012, Running Back from Miami...

Its a terrible idea and i would actually consider a QB before a Rb.

We need a pedigree QB straight out of college but Jerry is too dam cheap...that's our problem.

we are never going to be in position to draft a stud QB..not an elite one..like a top 10 pick..

finding 1 elsewhere in the draft is possible..but its difficult

Again, it comes down to OL problems and no Safety depth.

On Romo's last INT he had Witten Wide Open. But the pocket collapsed. We have OLinemen starting on this team that would not start elsewhere, and we have no otheroptions wih no cepth behind them.

Then Detriot moved the ball after Sensabeaugh went down. So we losee one Safety and, as Coach Ryan said, the communication ended up not being what it needed to be leading to breakdowns. So basically lack of S depth did us in again.

That, and we've got Brett Favre at QB wearing a #9 Jersey, still breaking several of Parcells' QB commandments.

romo has to be a busdriver or we will NEVER WIN...think ravens...great d ok O

Put the training wheels back on.

Treat Romo like a guy's who experience level makes those type of mistakes.

OL looked pretty good on the other two INTs.

And no matter how bad the backup safety was, it would have been good enough without a boat anchor of an offensive performance in the 2nd half.
