Ware not getting it was absolutely shocking, it was a weak class and most media outlets were shockedWare ended up with 138.5. I think Ware will get in, but I'm not surprised he wasn't first ballot.
If you poll every coach in the league 90% of them would agree that Ware was a better player and had better career/accolades then all 5 modern selection players that where selected (Boselli, Branch, Mills, Seymour, Butler).
There was no logical reason why he didn't get it, it was simply the committee being petty and intentionally not putting him first ballot because they don't want him to be first ballot. He was clearly better then the 5 guys they selected they just personally didn't want him to get in right now.
It's like the complete opposite of the Michael Strahan situation. Strahan would of normally been first ballot but there just so happen to be 3 better lineman that where all eligible the same year (Larry Allen, Warren Sapp, Jonathan Odgen). Ware was the opposite, he was if anything over-qualified for the draft class but the committee was being petty
