2016 was once in a lifetime, hopfully this one greatthe 2016 draft was historic.
dont think 2017 will be in that class though that would be nice.
Jaylon has the potential to really take last year's haul to legendary status. Note that we didn't draft a single LB his year...that, to me, says that management is extremely confident in his recovery and ability to contribute in a major way this season...are just so incredible.

Of course, we have to wait and see how these players turn out but man, did I like what they did.
This draft tells me that the team has really figured out how to draft. They have a vision and a direction for the team and its culture.
Such a great job.
The mental makeup of the guys they bring in is one of the big reasons I love how they're drafting. Football smart guys who have really great instincts that you can see when they play.no more "drafting for depth" is such a welcome sight. now it's drafting guys who are coming to take someone's job.
Yep, the big fail when they drafted Claiborne was that they didn't investigate his mental makeup in detail (The scout didn't think he would be an option so they didn't do the work). The mental makeup of the guys they bring in is one of the big reasons I love how they're drafting. Yep. Awuzie's Wonderlic score was 34. Claiborne's was what? A 7 I think?Yep, the big fail when they drafted Claiborne was that they didn't investigate his mental makeup in detail (The scout didn't think he would be an option so they didn't do the work).
I always had in mind that Claiborne's Wonderlic was a 6, but ESPN reported it as a 4.Yep. Awuzie's Wonderlic score was 34. Claiborne's was what? A 7 I think?
Awuzie's score was literally almost 5 times as much as Mo's.
Holy hell!I always had in mind that Claiborne's Wonderlic was a 6, but ESPN reported it as a 4.

The sad thing is that a 34 should be average for a person that went to college.Holy hell!
Once you get down that low, it really doesn't matter. A 4, 6, or 7 is all about the same, lol.
My projection: top 15 Defense next year. "Them hoes begging for that D, but it's all about that O"

The average score for a janitor is a 14. There are guys that went to college for 3 or 4 years and stayed eligible to play football, but still can't read. Incredible. The sad thing is that a 34 should be average for a person that went to college.
I've taken the Wonderlic and I would be very depressed if I only scored a 34.
