the 2016 draft was historic.
dont think 2017 will be in that class though that would be nice.

Jaylon has the potential to really take last year's haul to legendary status. Note that we didn't draft a single LB his year...that, to me, says that management is extremely confident in his recovery and ability to contribute in a major way this season.

Wait...philosophy flows from the GM, Head Coach, and Coordinators. That just can't be, when tasking the Scout Department what to look for.

Of course, we have to wait and see how these players turn out but man, did I like what they did.

This draft tells me that the team has really figured out how to draft. They have a vision and a direction for the team and its culture.

Such a great job.

no more "drafting for depth" is such a welcome sight. now it's drafting guys who are coming to take someone's job.

The mental makeup of the guys they bring in is one of the big reasons I love how they're drafting. Football smart guys who have really great instincts that you can see when they play.
Yep, the big fail when they drafted Claiborne was that they didn't investigate his mental makeup in detail (The scout didn't think he would be an option so they didn't do the work).

Yea, at this point it's safe to say that they expect big things from him. Like you mentioned they drafted zero LB's, and the FO's most recent public comments were very encouraging. You can just see the excitement when they talk about this kid now.

Yep. Awuzie's Wonderlic score was 34. Claiborne's was what? A 7 I think?

Awuzie's score was literally almost 5 times as much as Mo's.

Could not agree more!

The sad thing is that a 34 should be average for a person that went to college.

I've taken the Wonderlic and I would be very depressed if I only scored a 34.
The average score for a janitor is a 14. There are guys that went to college for 3 or 4 years and stayed eligible to play football, but still can't read. Incredible.
