You'd have to trade up to get breese

Most simulations for sure. On that one I got lucky. And as I've learned the ProFootball Network simulator has a lot more fallers who leak well down the board.

I had a good run with the simulator...

26 Jalen Carter DT Georgia
58 Broderick Jones T Georgia
90 Joey Porter Jr. CB Penn St.
129 Michael Mayer TE Notre Dame
169 Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR Ohio St.
212 Dalton Kincaid TE Utah
244 Bijan Robinson RB Texas

LOL. For those reading along...x is engaging humorous hyperbole at warp speed.

If you want the most reasonable mock drafting I suggest ProFootballFocus. Or nflmockdraftdatabase. One thing with the latter is you have to ignore the trade requests (which can sometimes get too generous) and stick with manual trading where you balance value.

Trade down, my friends, trade down. Your friends will love you; your enemies fear you.

Here are a mock where I traded down multiple times:

This is 3 round ProFootballNetwork.com simulation.

-Bryan Bresee, DT
-Charbonnet, RB
-Hooker, QB
-Battle, S
-LaPorta, TE
-2024 GB 4th round

In just 3 rounds: 4 immediate contributors, Backup QB with upside, and some candy for 2024.
I’d take that mock all day. But we will still need another OL

Failure because you didn't draft a guard.

We don't have any hard requirements in the draft...which gives us more drafting power.

Don't think there's hard preference between the top five tight ends or the 2nd vs. 4th best running back.

If we could trade down twice and end up with 4 picks in the 40-85 range...I'd be all over it.
I agree.

Trading down would be ideal. I've said this since I started looking at this draft

If we trade down with our first two picks we could get 3 good players. Something like:

-Our top ranked linebacker + top 3 RB + Siaki/Benton
or
-One of the 5 premium tight ends + Avilla + a good CB

Something like that. Probably would require two crafted trades.

Every Mock draft is just a waste of time when you’re picking #26. They’re all worthless. Sorry, it’s just the truth.

If you are fixating on a short list of specific players, maybe.

I've never really done this seriously before this year. Gotta say, it's addictively fun.

But it’s an effort in futility. Just let it happen and then complain about it. That’s what 99% of Zoners do. Just wait and see.

Unless a player drops to you at #26, trade down. Then in later rounds with the extra picks, trade up a bit to get someone that's falling! Please give your thoughts

Certainly not opposed to it, but if there’s a top 20ish player at a high value position I’m drafting.

I’m fairly confident a really good DE or CB will be available at 26.

Trade-downs leverage the impatience of others...their fixation on specific needs.

Puts you in a great position to plunder.

After the 2nd round it just disappears.
