They need to trust Rush

Kellen Moore and his conservative, predictable play calling needs to stop.

Cooper Rush proved today that he can make all the throws.

Open this thing up and start trying to win, rather than try not to lose.

Brother, I know what you’re saying but Coopers throws to the sidelines make me cringe. He needs a ton of experience that takes time. I will say that his best asset is his poise. If a qb has a minimally serviceable arm, poise will give him a chance to deliver.

Although the conservative play calling is designed to protect him, game situations will force Rush to go yard and throw in tight windows which may not play to his strength.

If we had Burrow as our Qb today we win that game in a blowout

Rush could have EASILY had 4 picks today

Trusting him with the same stuff you’d trust Dak with is literally the opposite of what you want to do. Half of his passes more than 5 yards beyond the LOS were interceptable.

Last week we barely ran the ball. So that's not a real good comparison.

If you think we were truly conservative early, then I don't know what to tell you. After we got a lead, the runs were more conservative, Rush was limited to mostly short throws on any throws. Even Romo pointed it out near the end of the 3rd Q that the play calls had gotten real conservative for Dallas since they got the lead.

Totally agree with you there. Those throws to the flats (5-7 of them) were beyond bad.
But his deeper throws where he instinctively let it go were spot on for the most part

No, people aren't saying we were wide open offensively and that's how we should be but they certainly were more aggressive early trying to catch Cincy on their heels.

They can't let Rush drop back 35 times a game and just wing it all over the field, but they also can't do what they did for like a 30 minute stretch which was just try to bomb Elliott and Pollard between the the OTs over and over.

Agree and it almost cost us. Cooper was very accurate when he threw down the middle. Ran that slant ONCE and he threw a dart. Why not call more slant plays on short yardage?

that’s EXACTLY what set up the long shovel pass and run that went to the 3 inch line. The deep throw that Rush overthrew by a few feet was the play right before that……Great point.

I think their best shot at winning is to fight and win ugly and control the trenches. Trust their play in the trenches. I love what Rush did today but just a week ago most of us had no faith in the guy. I think as the season goes on we can earn more trust in him but this gameplay was perfect for what he's shown us today.

If you think you can win this way, have a it.

But if you are hoping this team is .500 or better by the time Dak gets back playing this way, you are going to be sorely disappointed.

Rush clearly knows how to rally the team in ways Dak severely lacks. I noticed more grit from all our players today. Ceedee, Noah Brown, the O-line, all worked as a cohesive unit to rally behind Rush and lead us to a win. Rush is a way better leader, QB, and warmonger than Dak has been and ever will be. His chemistry with Brown is undeniable. And all this is without Gallup. Rush needs to be named starter. Now what should we name him?
