I’m not so sure they are great at PR as they are at relying on the foundation of millions of fans from the 70’s and 90’s who passed down that fandom to generations who have never seen success. No amount of public relations will help a perennial loser like the Browns. Jones’ job is to not screw it up and he’s been trying for a long time. It's a true testament to how good the Cowboys are at PR. Above all else this franchise does the best job in PR, simply incredible.
That's a sound idea. It's one that assures you of enjoying a team that's improved and not remaining stagnant. Sometimes it's best to temper expectations and simply enjoy having a winner of limited glories -- even if it doesn't include a Super Bowl. Having hope is a comfort.I think they certainly had a better "off-season" in terms of player acquisitions. But, I'm going to be cautiously optimistic and temper my expectations so that I won't be disappointed later in the season. LOL
A cold shower should sort you out........get back in line with the rest of us misery guts.By the end of last year’s disappointing season, I was very much checked out and indifferent.
And when the Schotty hire was initially announced, even more so.
But I must admit that as the off-season has gone by, my interest has been rekindled.
I loved the assistant coaching hires.
I loved what they did with trades and lower level free agency.
I loved the draft.
I love the Pickens trade.
I think they’ve had a fantastic offseason and I’m eagerly looking forward to training camp and the upcoming season.

I love the Schotty hire and did so from the start. Caught a lot of crapp in that Who Likes Schotty thread, but it was fun!!!!I hate to admit but me to. I don’t like the Shotty hire but everything after that has been money. Had a damn good offseason.
Having a really positive off season feels good.By the end of last year’s disappointing season, I was very much checked out and indifferent.

Watching for 30 years with no optimism, is even more foolish.30 years of disappointment means until they show they really are something on the field any optimism is foolish
Use a dart board also?A cold shower should sort you out........get back in line with the rest of us misery guts.
Check your Cowboy hat...it sucks!
It takes failures as well to be forged in fire.We should be entertaining at the very least.
Last year was beyond boring.
Yeah I don’t like how they didn’t interview anyone and didn’t even try. They went with a guy in house which killed all hope for some change.I love the Schotty hire and did so from the start. Caught a lot of crapp in that Who Likes Schotty thread, but it was fun!!!!

Dallas had a good draft. Not impressed with the free agent pickups. Pickens was one of the worst Steelers players in history.By the end of last year’s disappointing season, I was very much checked out and indifferent.
