I'm not talking about the promise that was QC. I'm talking about the promise that was 2004. We had just gone to the playoffs in 2003 and were looking to do great things, but losing QC meant that the season was over before it ever began. The team was thrown into turmoil, and we were stuck with 40 year old Vinny T.

I couldn't stand Vinny the Dinosaur. But he was miles better than Quincy even at his geriatric age. 2003 was smoke and mirrors. Parcells worked magic until someone pulled the curtain and saw the wizard.
