Would love to see some of this physicality we've been hearing about on offense. Right now the Bills offense is absolutely PUNKING the Denver defense. Running touchdowns on every single possession.

The two quarterbacks we saw in last week's game didn't look like they belonged in this league. Sure, they were playing with some backup players and not the starters. But they were also playing against other backups.

To be fair, it was one game. But it's not like Cooper Rush has ever wowed anyone with his overarching talent, same for DiNucci. I can see why they'd try to hold on to DiNucci, but I'd like to suggest it's probably time to say goodbye to Rush. Otherwise, you're holding your team's potential back with a stale piece of bread that isn't getting any fresher.

So, I'm probably the most anxious about seeing how Will Grier plays against the Chargers. I hope the staff helps him prepare. There's no doubt, in my mind, at least, that Grier has more potential than Cooper Rush. And if DiNucci is ever going to compete with Grier, it likely won't be this year.

That is, unless Grier stinks it up as badly as the duo last week.

Linebackers and Wide Receivers (depth)

Most years, I would feel frustrated along with the majority of other fans who insist we desperately need help at the WR position. But this year, I confident that at least one or two our guys who haven't yet made names for themselves will be able to produce enough to make a name for themselves. If things end up looking too ugly to go into the regular season with the guys we have, well, there's still time. And I can't fault the Cowboys for taking this approach, this season, at this position.

While it may seem like we have our starters at LB with LVE, Parsons, and Barr, I'm particularly excited about the players on the roster likely to play behind those three. So I'll have my eyes on the two players who caught the attention of fans last week: Storey Jackson and Malik Jefferson. Good teams require good depth, so this is one of the reasons I tend to be more optimistic than others about the 2022 Dallas Cowboys. We seem to have pretty good depth at several positions outside of wide receiver and backup quarterbacks.

Lastly, I would be interested in the kicker competition battle. But I'm already convinced that neither Hajrullahu nor Maher are likely not the solution for putting the foot in football.

The NOOCH and WG have to be better. Have to. I also want to see a cut down in penalties, better play from OL, and signs of greatness from the rookies. We get that and we are golden today.

If he has another strong outing. Then if he doesn’t not get as much playing time the 3rd game. It may show that he has made the team. As they would not risk injury at that point. Unless they want him to get that much more game experience.

Another? When was his first strong outing? He didn't do anything game 1.

A serious reduction in Penalties would be a great start.

No Limping Allowed and any carts on the field better be picking up lightning bolts.

Starters won't play much but this team is thin, cannot afford to lose backups.

As far as the game is concerned, a better mentally played game.

I will be watching to see if our backups and rookies can play better than the opposing teams backups and rookies.

What are your thoughts on real men like Josh Allen and Mahomes out here playing and getting ready to compete while our guy thinks he's just too good for it?

I don't like sitting guys for any reason in the preseason unless they are injured.

We're trying to get ready for the season so I expect our guys to be out there competing at least for a few series. I also think it's lame to sit guys the last game of the season if the playoff spot is already locked up.

You stay ready so you don't have to get ready.

If top 4 young buck QBs like Mahomes and Allen can do it then so can our guy.

If Mahomes or Allen had been seriously hurt, jobs would be on the line. To me it’s just not a big deal either way. Dak had a great first game last year with no ps snaps.

Who cares? Nothing matters until the regular season starts. These ps games are all about who will fill these backup roster positions IMO.

College FB doesn’t need ps games to get their teams ready. These games are simply a money grab for the owners, not really that necessary despite what some coaches and fans say. The coaches have to say the party line.
