Think of a moment from this season

Not this play specifically, but this play represents why this season went well.

The 4th down stop against the Rams in the 3rd quarter. Hitchens blew that play up in the backfield.

That Rams game in general was a big game in terms of momentum being set for the season. A lot of big plays in that game. Especially after going down 21-0. They did not quit and kept fighting.

If you're going to pick a moment from this season it would have to be from the Seattle game because that was the game that convinced everyone the Cowboys were for real. I would pick Twill's great toe dragging catch as the one moment that stands out because it was a huge play that helped lead to that win. That catch was very reminiscent of Drew Pearson's 4th and 16 catch just prior to Staubach's Hail May to Pearson vs the Vikings in the 75 playoffs.

for me. it wasnt a "Play".

I was flying back home from the East coast that Sunday, and didnt get to see 80% of the game.

But when i switched flights in Atlanta, I caught about 10 minutes of the game. I got off the flight , walked to the restaurant in the Airport and the Cowboys game was on; Cowboys winning, with the ball, and driving down the field. In seattle, against the Super Bowl Champs.

I had to catch my flight so I couldnt catch the rest of the game. But at that time, I was thinking, this team is a lot better then I , and many others, think.

Many people will point to the t-will catch, but I will go with the Dez catch against Hou, if he doesn't make that play, and we lose that game, who knows how the rest of the season turns out.

I can see why some are going with that play but beating the defending SB champions Seahawks on the road solidified the Cowboys as a legit contender. Not many thought they would go up to Seattle and win that game and the win made believers out of everyone.

Beating the sb champs in the building was huge, but I still think even if we lose that game, we could have taken some positives from that game.

If we don't beat the texans, and we are 2-2, who knows how the season unfolds.

It could be argued had the Cowboys not overcome a 21 point deficit to a Rams team that was playing with their 3rd string QB and had Chris Long out with an injury the season could have gone down the drain. I don't believe any positives could have been taken from losing to Seattle even in a tough hard fought game. When you're a team coming off 3 straight 8-8 seasons and your HC is on the hot seat you can't be taking any positives away from a loss regardless how good the opponent is.

Moral victories aren't going to keep a coach their job or get a team in the playoffs. The victory over Houston left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth because that game should have never gone to OT. The Cowboys had that game wrapped up and let it get away at the end allowing the Texans to send the game into OT. I still had a lot of doubts about the Cowboys after that game but overcoming a 10 point deficit to the Seahawks on the road convinced me they were legit contenders.

That is true, but there really wasn't one play that you can look at that won that game.

Bruce Carter's int/TD return vs St. Louis

That saved our season

Philly loss that very well could propel us to hoisting the Lombardi out in Arizona!

Twill's toe dragging catch greatly contributed to winning that game it was a big play at a critical time.

I always look at the main play that changed our fortunes. Yes, coming back from a 21-0 deficit to the Rams was the starting point, but I look at the main play when we finally scored to make it 21-7 and the Rams were driving to midfield just before the half and were inching to field goal range until a fumble between the quarterback/center exchange from the Rams gave us the ball with enough time for a Dan Bailey field goal, just before the half. That right there was a 6 point swing (or possibly more). Then when Dez got open for a deep bomb on busted coverage by the Rams, I knew we were going to win that game from that point forward. That game was a gut check game which showed a lot of character in our team which I believe led to the gritty wins vs Houston and Seattle weeks later!

The drive against the Eagles after they took the lead 24-21. In previous years, we would have folded and would have went 3 and out or turned the ball over. This team got punched in the mouth, shook it off, and threw a haymaker. You could see this team was not intimidated by the adverse conditions. I loved how we just went back to work and took the game from them.

lol +1

i said on here as it was going down. "we're about to find out if this team really has taken a step"

the eagles celebrating on the sidelines on thanksgiving. shady wearing that silly WCW belt too.

its christmas day. you're finished on sunday. you overrated bums. go the f home.

My God. There's too many to count for. The comeback against The Rams certainly made me raise an eyebrow. I remember a friend of mine who is a Cowboys hater and Saints fan, was talking so much trash. I kept telling him it's not over, and man was it not. Then as terrible as we played in Seattle, we some how pulled it together and found a way to win it. I bought in after that game. It's been a remarkable season, full of spectacular plays on both sides of the ball. It's really cool when a teams motto "Fight", really sums up the entire season in one word. Hope to see it pay off come playoff time.

And the Dez play in the Hou game won us the game. Who knows maybe if we don't win the Hou game, we get our doors blown off in Sea.
