The offense is shaping up. The biggest question mark I have is can Guyton actually play LT? If he can't we have a player who can so we could easily move him to RT.

If that happens, who's going to stop this offense with a healthy Dak. We now have the best receiver group in the league, I'd argue, if they all stay healthy. Plus, we have some nice developmental players as well.

Add to that, Pickens! Dude is a beast. I liked him coming out of college, thought he was the best receiver in that draft. Now, we basically have two WR1s and Tolbert, which makes Tolbert even better

Add in Jaydon Blue and Booker and this offense has really nice potential.

Scary even.

I saw this team really improving after the draft. Now we're definitely improved for next year enough to compete for the division, especially if this defense shapes up to its potential.

Bothers me when I hear who's going to stop that!! Someone mentioned I think it was Mark Holmes talking about our pass rush with Micah d law and someone else, he said how are you going to stop that? I laughed when I heard it, because as soon as we play a team that schemes well, you don't see these players take over games. So I cringe and wait to see what they can do before saying they're going to be unstoppable!

I mean there are a lot of questions at most positions.

Will Guyton evolve to an average LT (as of last year he was one of the 5 worst starters in the league)?

Will Beebe stay as the 15th C or will he be more? How good will a rookie RG be (could be good could be awful)?

Will Steele regain the ability to run block?

Will any of the TEs be good enough to make them a league average TE room?

Will there be a single decent RB on the roster?

Pickens, who is a known diva, will have to adjust to being a number 2. How does he handle that adjustment?

Finally, how will Dak be coming back from injury?

That is a LOT of questions for an offense to have.

Shotty, a guy who's been passed around from team to team, getting fired or demoted at every stop, is an upgrade over a Super Bowl winning coach?
Nearly all coaches get fired in the NFL..

He can't be complete crap tho or he wouldn't keep getting hired by said teams.. why would anyone hire him?

The game has passed MM by.. his time management skills and changing to plan B if plan A wasn't working.. were atrocious.

It’s all going to depend on if they can get that running game going. They have to be balanced. Sounds like that’s what Scotty’s intention is.

So...everyone is talking about Guyton being the question mark to this all coming together on offense...

I also get that we may have depth to cover for Guyton 8f he doesn't work out...

If we look explosive and Jerry seems to want to win next year...

If Guyton is the soft spot, how often are decent tackles available at trade deadline? Can you usually find one?

I don't know anything about next year's tackle class coming out of college, and if it would make sense to wait until draft or give up assets at trade deadline.

I understand we have options to cover Guyton with Steele, Tyler Smith, Richard's, etc..

Yeah, lets pretend Dak is an elite Qb against good teams when the game is still in question. Dak has never lacked for weapons. The path forward for this team was defense but we seem to enjoy repeats of history.
