Think of the Upside; This Offense has Scary Potential

2 things for me:
1) With the exception of the Browns game, Dak looked pretty bad before the injury.
2) I am still far from sold on the RB room
I agree. Dak didn't look so great last year. Let's hope the off-season helped.

They're likely gonna wait and see what they have before they make any more decisions at RB, though. I think we keep the two rookies on the roster. They're obviously part of the plan. The question is, who is the other back? Williams?

Really? You think the 2025 Cowboys will rank as the 2nd best rushing offense, and 8th best rushing defense? How do you see this?
I'm looking at the pieces we have assembled and what they COULD become behind this Oline. A great offense can really help the defense, by keeping them off the field , keeps them fresh. I've watched a lot of football in my life, and nothing would shock me anymore.

Not so fast, let's see how this RB-by-Committee looks.

What's funny and amusing is many think Breece Hall is the answer. I think we need to find out what we have in the RB room before we pass judgement.

Countless resources pumped into the offense yet the same quarterback can only be carried so far by the other players.

The decision to make Dak Prescott the highest paid player in the league has undone any subsequent good work by the front office in terms of player acquisitions via the draft, free agency or trade.

It's frustrating but you reap what you sow.

The offense is shaping up. The biggest question mark I have is can Guyton actually play LT? If he can't we have a player who can so we could easily move him to RT.

If that happens, who's going to stop this offense with a healthy Dak. We now have the best receiver group in the league, I'd argue, if they all stay healthy. Plus, we have some nice developmental players as well.

Add to that, Pickens! Dude is a beast. I liked him coming out of college, thought he was the best receiver in that draft. Now, we basically have two WR1s and Tolbert, which makes Tolbert even better

Add in Jaydon Blue and Booker and this offense has really nice potential.

Scary even.

I saw this team really improving after the draft. Now we're definitely improved for next year enough to compete for the division, especially if this defense shapes up to its potential.
offense doesn't bring championships. tell me we are going to have a scary defense.

We've seen better offenses a few years ago.

Dak, ferg, Steele, and Guyton are question marks. I’m not as worried with the rookie rbs. If the oline can build upon last season and we run the ball well, we will be improved
Guyton looked better late in the season than the start. Guyton started in the nfl at LT, a very position to play. Many high prospects start at RT for a year or so. And they were guys that played LT in college. He may never be a star but I think he’s better this year. Steele still is a good run blocker so if we get a solid run game that makes pass blocking easier. Dak is just about health. Can’t really control that.ferg csme off an injury and just never got going. But he and Dak click well together. I don’t see any reason he’s not back and solid. I like the RB we have. If we use them right they should be solid. Blue is exciting abd there’s lots of options to get him involved in the offense. His route running looks like a WR. He can eat up safeties and LB’s
