You guys think the NFL schedules Dallas to play in Philly for the Thursday night season opener?
Other candidates to play against Philly may be Detroit or Washington.

Dude you gotta let that mindset go. We aren’t that team anymore. Nobody cares. Even I would rather see the Eagles/Lions or Eagles/Commanders over us.

A few years ago, they scheduled the Cowboys in the Thursday season opener at Tampa Bay after they won the Super Bowl, so anything is possible.

The first TNF game will draw ratings no matter who is playing. It is opening of the new season. It could be the Panthers and NY Giants, people will watch.
Dallas will draw ratings rather you all like it or not. Rather a noon, or Sunday late game, or SNF. People will watch. YOU will watch.

Dallas is still special, rather you think so or not. You all are just want to hate on the team. And so be it.

I hope not. Getting embarrassed on national TV to start a new HC‘s tenure is not what I would recommend. Plus we haven’t earned the national spotlight. Philly and Wash do deserve it.

I think Jerry and this franchise need embarrassment on epic levels.

I could see this being a game to open the season for both teams. Dallas almost always draws ratings and Philly is guaranteed to draw ratings next year.

Count me in as one who wants Jerry to get embarrassed.

Even though it was low, the ratings they got wouldn’t be higher if that game was played on any other day.

I think it would be the Cowboys only if the NFL believe that it can top last year kickoff ratings that broke kickoff records.
